How do you know you are righteous? When you don’t allow unbelief,disobedience,doubts and fears to rob you of God’s promises,and you know without a shadow of doubt,that God is able to do exceeding,abundantly above all you ask or think,according to the power that worketh in us {Ephesians 3:20}. What is the power in us? There is two divine power at work in us, the Holy Spirit,which Acts 1:8 says,”But ye shall receive power,after the Holy Spirit is come upon you…”,and 1John4:4 says,”Ye are of God,little children,and have overcome them,because greater is He that is in you,than he that is in the world”. Another power source we have as believers is the word of God,which Hebrews 4:12 describes thus,” For the word of God is quick,and powerful,and sharper than any two-edged sword,piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,and of joints and marrow,and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. That’s why the Lord said,in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth,but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein;for then thou shalt make thy way properous,and thou shalt have good success”. Abraham is a good example to ,show us what it entails to be righteous,Romans4:19-22 says,” And being not weak in faith,he considered not his own body now dead(old),when he was about a hundred years old,neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief ,but was strong in faith,giving glory to God,and being fully persuaded that,what He had promised,He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness”. Wow! That’s awesome,and all it takes is belief,trust,confidence,faith,hope,and love of God to just obey Him. How much are you willing to give up to walk in and experience the fullness of joy in being righteous? You have to give it all up. Is it worth giving up all for Christ ? Absolutely, Jesus said in,Mark 10:29-30 “Verily I say unto you,there is no man that hath left house,or brethren,or sisters,or father,or mother,or wife,or children,or lands,for my sake,and the gospel’s. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time,houses,and brethren,and sisters,and mothers,and children,and lands,with persecutions;and in the age to come eternal life”. Isn’t that worth it? Have you given your life to Jesus Christ,and are in a committed relationship with Him? If you claim you are a christian and not in a committed relationship with God,His word for you is in Revelation 3:15-16,”I know thy your works,that thou art neither cold nor hot;I would thou wert cold or hot. So,then,because thou art lukewarm,and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth”. So get your act together before it’s too late.

GOD LOVES THE RIGHTEOUS
Christians are righteous people,and righteous people are christians; To be righteous is to be in right standing with God;Therefore,Christians obey God’s word ,but acting christians compromise and disobey Gods’ word.Unfortunately many people in the world can’t differentiate between the two.But allow me to shed some light on certain facts: There is a big difference between a righteous person and an unrighteous person,the righteous person lives for God,obey His commands,pray ,go to church and read their Bible daily,and above all accept Gods personal gift of His only begotten son Jesus Christ,who is the only one that allows us to be in right standing with God,and God loves the righteous.
To maintain righteousness, one must present their bodies as a living sacrifice ,Holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service;and be not conformed to this world,but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good,and acceptable,and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2).”What ? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,which ye have of God,and ye are not your own ? For ye are bought with a price , therefore glorify God in your body,and in your spirit,which are God’s” ( 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20).God loves the righteous Psalms 11 :7 tells us,”For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness;His countenance doth behold the upright” Most people can’t figure out why righteous folks are prosperous,and joyful even when things don’t look good,it’s because we know the God we serve,we trust the God we serve,and we believe in the God we serve,and He reminds us of that fact in Psalms 34:15,17,19.
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,and His ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry,and the Lord heareth,and delivered them out of all their troubles.Many are the afflictions of the righteous;but the Lord delivered him out of them all. Righteous folks are blessed people in Matthew 5:6,10 it tells us, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness,for they shall be filled.Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake:For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven”.If you are still not satisfied King David says,”I have been young,and now old;yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,nor his seed begging bread”Psalms 37:25. Then if we move down to James 5: 16 we see that ,” ..The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availed much”.There are many scriptures that prove that God loves the righteous,and His wish is for all to be righteous,that’s why He sent His only begotten son (JESUS CHRIST) .
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish ,but have everlasting life…( John 3:16-17). For He hath made Him to be sin for us,who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).For God to answer or hear you when you pray,you must follow what 1 John 1 : 9 says,”If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” God promises in Hebrew 8 :12 that,He will be merciful to their unrighteousness,and their sins ,and iniquities He will remember no more;it is then you will feel His eyes over you ,because of righteousness and His ears will be open to your prayers( 1 Peter 3 :12).Why anyone would not desire the love of God by being righteous does not make any sence,because you will be heading to hell.
God does not dwell in unrighteousness you can’t go to the club, bar, pub, and any other ungodly place the night before and go to church and pretend like you are righteous, because you can’t serve two masters (Matthew 6:24), then by doing that you give the righteous and authentic Christian a bad reputation. One thing you need to know is that if Jesus appears suddenly and you are caught in an ungodly, unholy or un-righteous position ,then you will be left behind. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God to give salvation to everyone who believes. For the Jew first and also for the Greek and for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written the just shall live by faith.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:16-20). Are you ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God? (not an adopted son but The Son). Are you just? Are you living by faith?
