GODLY LIVING

Most people who call themselves Christians, refuse to give up their old lifestyle and Psalm 1:1 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.” Then to make it clear we go to 1 Corinthians 15:33-34, “Be not deceived, evil company corrupts good morals. Awake to righteousness and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God.” 1 Corinthians 5:11 says, “But now I have written unto you, not to keep company, if any man that is called a fornicator or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one no not to eat.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 tells us that, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new, and all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ.” But when we look at 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 it tells us not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, “for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Beliel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Ephesians 5:15-17 tells us to see that we walk circumspectly not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore, be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore, as a Christian we must put off concerning the former manner of life the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24. And Romans 12:1-2 tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable to God which is our reasonable service and be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of our minds.

Try to live a lifestyle that shows that you are committed to God and that you love Him. If you love Him you would strive to live as He wants His people to live. On our own this kind of living isn’t easy, but with God and His Spirit we can do all things, including living for Him. Invite jesus into your live today by saying a prayer. There’s an example of a prayer in the salvation page above. I encourage you to visit that page and read it.
Hebrews 12:14-17
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.
All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. I pray that He will give all who read this message the spiritual gifts necessary to comprehend and act upon His word. I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. And I ask the Lord to loose the Holy Spirit and the heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the Omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

WHO ARE YOU?

There is a song that says, “girl you can’t do, what the guys do, and still be a lady.” Now I am telling you that, you can’t be a Christian, and do the things non-christians do. If your desire is to serve God, you must untangle yourself from the affairs of the world. Who you follow or imitate, tells you if you are walking wisely, or as a fool (Ephesians 5:1-15). I once told someone that I don’t drink, nor smoke and I don’t hang around those that do. His reply was, what do you do for fun?

You see you can party your way to hell or praise your way into heaven, through repenting, and accepting Jesus (John 3:16 or John 6:40). People think that because you don’t do the things of the world, then you are not having fun. What they fail to realize is that, Christians are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His (God) own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness, into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). As Christians, we must not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2). Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new, and all things are of God (2 Corinthians 5:17). A double-minded person is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). Now don’t get me wrong I am not saying not to talk to them, but we can’t do the same things, because we are serving too different God, and as Christians we can’t serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). If you don’t agree with me then it’s time to put on the belt of truth, and give yourself a self-examination. Then, make a choice to serve the God who creates you or the god of this world. We can’t be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; because what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness? This doesn’t mean we can’t talk to them, but we can’t go drinking or to a strippers club, etc. Wherefore, come out from among them and be separate (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

Listen, how are you going to tell someone about the God of the universe, when you are doing the devils work with them. Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in you, all His wonderful compassion and purity.
