Benefits of a Merry
Proverb 17:22 says :
A merry heart does good like a medicine…
MERRY: to be cheerful, filled with joy and gladness.
HEART: your spirit, your inner most and immaterial being.
MEDICINE: that which is used to cure all ailments, sicknesses and diseases and to maintain good health.
+Could it be that the cure that some of us need to over come ailments is a MERRY HEART?
+Everyone needs the MEDICINE of a MERRY HEART.
+Jesus said in John 14:1 Let not your HEART be troubled.
+May the JOY of the Lord be your strength (Neh 8:10), today, tomorrow and everyday for the rest of your life in Jesus Name.
+Knowing that a Merry Heart does Good because it is God’s Medicine for your spirit, soul and body.

+The basis of a MERRY HEART is the Love of God in our hearts.
Romans 5:5
…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given unto us.
+The very first manifestation of the characteristic of the Love of God in our hearts is JOY (Galatians 5:22-23).
+WE are not waiting to get JOY. We have JOY, unspeakable JOY. JOY beyond explanation and comprehension.
+The JOY that we have
…is not of the mind. It’s of the Heart.
…It is not from without. It is from within.
…It is not from Earth below. It is from Heaven above.
+The JOY we have is from God the Holy Spirit Who is in our hearts.Hallelujahs to Jesus!

+Remember a MERRY HEART has the JOY of the Lord in it.
Hebrews 12:2-3
2 Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher (Perfecter) of our faith; who for the JOY that was set before him ENDURED the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that ENDURED such hostility of sinners against himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds.
+JOY in the HEART produces ENDURANCE, PERSEVERANCE, and STEADFASTNESS.
+Jesus ENDURED the cross for the JOY was set before Him, so likewise we shall endure all trials and tests for the JOY that is set before us.
+JOY in the Heart keeps us on the path that leads us to VICTORY. Never lose your JOY.

The JOY of a MERRY HEART is needed for the work of the Ministry.
We cannot EFFECTIVELY, SKILLFULLY and POWERFULLY serve the Lord and each other without JOY in our hearts.
Psalm 100:1-2
1 MAKE a JOYFUL noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with GLADNESS (JOY)…
Philemon 1:7
For we have GREAT JOY and consolation (comfort and encouragement) in your love, because the hearts of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.
+JOY in our hearts optimizes us in every area of our lives, and in all that we do for the glory of God.
+JOY is one of the products of a MERRY HEART.
+It is God’s WILL and DESIRE that we live a JOYFUL life.
John 15:11 tells us, These things have I spoken unto you, that My JOY might remain in you, and that your JOY might be FULL.

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.” (I Peter 1:6‭-‬9 NKJV).

God in us is for relationship
God with you is for the work of the ministry
God for me is for protection

Five (5) kinds of Knowledge
1. The knowledge of the Holy
2. Spiritual knowledge
3. Faith knowledge
4. Sense knowledge
5. Knowledge of good and evil

God is in you ,as 1 Corinthians 6:17 says: ” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”

Wherever and whenever I have a relationship with God, He is there because He is Omnipresent .

We don’t debate or argue the word of GOD
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:”
(1 Corinthians 2:4 KJV) 1. Relationship 2. Interrelate 3. Fellowship 4. Comunión 5. Communication

The Five (5) Presences of God.
1. His Holy Presence (in Heaven on His Throne)
2. His Eternal Presence (from Everlasting to Everlasting).
3. His Personal Presence (for relationships).
4. His Manifested Presence (for the work of the Ministry).
5. His Omni-presence (covers every area in the Spiritual and Physical Realms).

LISTEN : It’s time for Christians to understand what the promises of God are.

Don’t ask GOD for what he has already given you:
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”(Romans 10:8-10 NKJV). Let’s simplify it another way.

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach— because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.”(Romans 10:8-10 AMP).

‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3‭-‬7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ says this :
[3] By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. [4] And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. [5] In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, [6] and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, [7] and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

Side note when GOD calls you, you come, you drop everything you are doing and follow him, look at the time when Jesus said follow me to the disciples, in opposition read the rich young ruler, and the parable of the feast when no one came after being asked to come “let me bury my father first, I just got married, I just bought a field and I have to tend to it”.

You can not explain GOD. You need an encounter with Him. Because experiencing GOD is better than an explanation of GOD.

‭‭” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

Five Ways to Know God.

• By His Personality.
• By His Character.
• By His Word.
• By His Spirit.
• By His Son (The Lord Jesus Christ)The big five off knowing God, we know God by his personality we know God by his character we know God by his word we know God by his spirit and we know God by his son personality is who God is character is what God does out of the personality that he is an example of personality who God is is this God is love God is light God is good. These are things that makes up the personality of God so we have personality and character.
• We know God by his word the word of God explains our teaches us who God is in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God we see in John chapter 1 verses one to three and verse 14 that the word is Jesus, so the word of God is the basis of knowing all the things of God we know God also, by his spirit, the spirit of God Helps us to understand whom God is in his spirit, so who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the third person is the Trinity he has personality he has character. He has Waze lots to be said about the Holy Spirit.
• We know God, also by his son, the son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus, is the expressed image of the father. Jesus came to show us basically what the father looks like. This is why when Jesus said to this disciples, he that I’ve seen me have seen the father Jesus is the personification of not only him the son of God, but of the image of the father.

“Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 9:23‭-‬24 NKJV).

‭‭Titus‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[16] They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”(Daniel 11:32 NKJV)

‭‭”The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.”(Nahum 1:7 NKJV).

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,..” (Philippians 3:7‭-‬10 NKJV).

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’(Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV).

‭‭ “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me.”(John 17:25 NLT).

‭‭” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. [Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

When you know God in Spirit and truth, you become obedient to His word.

‭‭” So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”.(Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV).

God says in ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‭-‬13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. [13] And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:23‭-‬24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[23] Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; [24] And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

[4] When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
[14] I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me–

[27] My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

[5] But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. [6] He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

[4] But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”

[24] Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]– [25] To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).

Praise the Lord always!!!

‭‭” It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,..”(Psalms 92:1-2 NKJV).

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s .” (Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV).

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalms 118 :24,28&29 NKJV).

‭‭” Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high,..”(Psalms 113:2-5 NKJV).

However, Psalms 37:4 tells us :
DELIGHT yourself (take great pleasure) in the LORD…
Then Psalms 100:1-2 says :
1. Make a JOYFUL NOISE unto the LORD…
2. Serve the LORD with GLADNESS: come before his presence with SINGING.
Don’t stop when Psalms 47:1 urges us to :
CLAP your hands, all you people; SHOUT! unto God with the VOICE of TRIUMP.

‭‭” But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”(1CORINTHIANS 15:57-58 NKJV).

‭‭” Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NKJV).

+When was the the last time you got Ampted up, Ramped up and Pumped up with Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship unto the Lord?
+I encourage you not to find the time, but instead to take the time (even at sacrifice) to give Him the Hallelujahs (the High Praise).
+He is worthy to be praised.
+From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the sun, the LORD is to be PRAISED. +Glory to God in the Highest. Hallelujah!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138:1‭-‬2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[1] I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. [2] I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

God inhabits (lives and dwells) in the praises of His people so:
+Praise Him until you experienced His Manifested Presence. He is worthy to be praised, and He deserves all Praise, Glory, and Honor!!!
•And the Lord said: Continue to let My WORD be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like I your Lord Jesus Christ Loves you while keeping your faith, trust, and confidence in me.

Living the Word of God is a lifestyle and NOT an Event.
Matthew 4:4
Jesus said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
+We do not live by the Word of God to get things from God.
+We live by every Word of God to show Love and Obedience to God and to live the Lifestyle of God, as demonstrated in the Four Gospels by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Acts 17:28
For in Him (Christ Jesus), we LIVE, and MOVE, and HAVE OUR BEING…
+In Him we live means we live in Him and He Lives in us, He speaks through us, and He Works In us and through us.
Philippians 2:13
For it is God who works IN you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
+Always See and Do all things from God’s point of view.

Just wanted you to know who you really are in Christ Jesus.
1. You are a well beloved child of God, and you are made in the image and likeness of God.
2. You are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved.
3. You are more than a conqueror in every situation.
4. You can and will do all things through Christ. Who is you Strength.
5. You are not frustrated, you are not confused, you are not weak, and you are definitely not a loser.
6. Don’t look at what is against you, but look to God who is with you and for you.
7. All your battles are winnable. Proclaim your victory and win.
8. God is your Protector and Provider.
9. God has assigned angels to keep your company.
10. You are blessed and prosperous, and you have good success.
+You are very special to God, and He wants you to know that, and please don’t let anyone tell you differently. Just simply live your life accordingly. AMEN!

Godly Wisdom and Blessings are ours. “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”(2 Corinthians 1: 20-22 NKJV).

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:6‭-‬9‬ ‭KJV‬‬ says :
[6] Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. [7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. [8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. [9] Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Isaiah 1:19 puts it this way :
If all of you be willing and obedient, all of you shall eat the good of the land.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:20‭-‬27‬ ‭KJV‬‬ says:0
[20] My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. [21] Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. [22] For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh. [23] Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life. [24] Put away from thee a froward mouth, And perverse lips put far from thee. [25] Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee. [26] Ponder the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. [27] Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.

It is God’s desire for His Children to be blessed. He told us in 3 John 1:2:
“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
•Obedience is evidence of love and maturity.
•God determines how much He loves us, and He loves us without limit and without end.
•Our level of maturity determines the amount of blessings we can handle.
•The more we mature in the things of God the greater the blessings of God will flow.
•Let us all be determined to increase our maturity level in the things of God by consistently walking in more love, obedience and wisdom.

‭‭” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” [Jude 1:24-25 KJV].

+++Blessed we are and blessed we will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

Jesus gave us power over fear,doubts, unbelief, and everything. “And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”(Luke 10:18-19 NKJV).

SO AS CHILDREN OF GOD WE CAN BOLDLY DECLARE:

” Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.”(Psalms 23:4 AMPC).

‭‭”But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV).

Then 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us of this fact:
For God has not given us the SPIRIT of FEAR; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND.
However, John 4:18 explains it this way:
There is no FEAR in LOVE; but PERFECT LOVE casts out FEAR: because FEAR has torment. He that FEARS is not made PERFECT in LOVE.
+Natural Fear is to be afraid of natural things such as heights, the dark, an animal, or being alone, etc.
+The spirit of fear or (demonic fear) is actually an evil spirit. This evil spirit uses anything it can to torment, worry, and stress people with fear and to the point of breaking them down mentally and emotionally and physically.
+The solution for the spirit of fear is the Holy Spirit Who brings to us Love , Power, and a Sound Mind.

Hear what John 8:32 KJVS says :
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
+I Pray this truth about FEAR liberates us from all FEARS in the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ! Amen and Hallelujah!!!
