FUNCTIONS OF THE HEART

The true function of the heart is to love God,trust God,serve God, and a storage place for God’s word.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.  “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.” (DEUTERONOMY 6:5-6 NKJV).

“…..what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,..”(Deuteronomy 10:12 NKJV).

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” ( Matthew 22:37-38 NKJV).

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.”( Mark 12: 30 NKJV).

David said, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”( Psalms 119:11 NKJV).

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”(Psalms 20:7 NKJV ).

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;..( Proverbs 3:5 NKJV).

” Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;  For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips, So that your trust may be in the Lord; I have instructed you today, even you.” (Proverbs 22: 17-19 NKJV).

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”( John 3: 16-18 NKJV).

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” (1 John 4: 7-11 NKJV).

” There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.  If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?  And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”(1 John 4:18-21 NKJV).

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

HATE WHAT GOD HATES 😒

” For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.  Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” ( PSALMS 139: 20-24 NKJV).

” These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,  A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,  A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.” ( Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV).

” Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5: 20 NKJV).

” For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,  because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Professing to be wise, they became fools,  and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;  being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,  backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” ( Romans 1: 18-32 NKJV).

” Therefore ,I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’  So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”  Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;  but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,  while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” ( Hebrews 3:10-15 NKJV).

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry,  although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” [1 Timothy 1:12-17 NKJV].

COMPLAINING AND MURMURING DOESN’T GET GOD’S ATTENTION

Fundamental Principles of the Word of God
-If something is worth doing, do it right.
-Never murmur and complain to God.
-God doesn’t answer murmurs and complaints.
-God answers PRAYERS that are prayed in FAITH, and PRAYERS that are based on His WORD.
Mark 12:24
Therefore, I say unto you, what things whatsoever all of you desire, when all of you pray, believe that all of you receive them, and all of you shall have them.
1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us,And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
– Pray the problem don’t murmur and complain the problem.

” Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,  to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” ( EPHESIANS 3:20-21 NKJV).

+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to Jesus be all the glory. Amen!

WHY WORRY ?

Children of the Most High God, no matter what is going on, all over the world.  We have no need to worry nor be concerned because God has got us covered. JUST REMEMBER HIS WRITTEN WORD :

” Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4 NKJV).

” HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!  For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.  [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.  You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,  Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.” (Psalms 91:1-7 AMPC ).

“Which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?  “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For after all these things, the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” ( Matthew 6:27-34 NKJV).

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].  Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.” (Philippians 4:6-9 AMPC).

“Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]– To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).” [Jude 1:24-25 AMPC].

GOD’S GOODNESS AND MERCY.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”(Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV).

“This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. THROUGH THE LORD’S  MERCIES WE ARE NOT CONSUMED, BECAUSE HIS COMPASSION FAIL NOT. THEY ARE NEW EVERY MORNING; Great is Your faithfulness.  “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.  It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.” ( Lamentations 3:21-26 NKJV).

“THEREFORE YOU have no excuse or defense or justification, O man, whoever you are who judges and condemns another. For in posing as judge and passing sentence on another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge are habitually practicing the very same things [that you censure and denounce].  [But] we know that the judgment (adverse verdict, sentence) of God falls justly and in accordance with truth upon those who practice such things. And do you think or imagine, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment and elude His sentence and adverse verdict?

Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)? But by your callous stubbornness and impenitence of heart you are storing up wrath and indignation for yourself on the day of wrath and indignation, when God’s righteous judgment (just doom) will be revealed.  For He will render to every man according to his works [justly, as his deeds deserve]: [Ps. 62:12.] To those who by patient persistence in well-doing [springing from piety] seek [unseen but sure] glory and honor and [the eternal blessedness of] immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and self-willed and disobedient to the Truth but responsive to wickedness, there will be indignation and wrath.

[And] there will be tribulation and anguish and calamity and constraint for every soul of man who [habitually] does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek (Gentile).  But glory and honor and [heart] peace shall be awarded to everyone who [habitually] does good, the Jew first and also the Greek (Gentile). For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another]. [Deut. 10:17; II Chron. 19:7.] All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law. For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified.” ( Romans 2:1-13 AMPC).

” Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,  as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:2-4 NKJV)

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”  [Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV].

HALLOWEEN IS NOT OF GOD

Halloween is not a holiday, and it’s not celebrated all over the world, like Christmas. It’s created to support evil deeds and celebrate the dead.
Choosing God “Our Lord and Savior” or the alternative “evil pratices” Halloween… Joshua 24:15 (Amplified Bible) And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.  Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.”(Psalms 1:1-6 NKJV).

Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don’t understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. – 2 Cor. 4:4 (NLT)

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; (Halloween) instead, rebuke and expose them.  – Ephesians 5:11 (NLT)

We need to beware of its origins, its history and its dangers. From Romans 12:21 (NLT)
we can be encouraged, Don’t let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

II Corinthians 6:14-18 NKJV
[14] Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? [15] And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? [16] And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” [17] Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” [18] “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”

Ephesians 5:15-17 NKJV
[15] See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, [16] redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Titus 3:8-9 NKJV
[8] This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. [9] But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

III John 1:11 NKJV
[11] Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

Jude 1:24-25 NKJV
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, [25] To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE

All Decisions are Important
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed (children) may live:
+Our lives are composed of our choices.
+A decision is not made in a moment of time it is already rooted in our characters and experiences.
+Be wise in making decisions.

  • All decisions can become habits, and all habits can become a part of our character.
+Let us not choose what we want but rather choose what God has already chosen for us:
    +Choose the Lord Jesus Christ.
+For in Christ we Choose life not death…
    +Blessings and not curses.
+Health and not sicknesses and diseases.
    +Riches and not poverty.
    +Victory and not defeat.
+The Kingdom of God and not the world.
+When we chose Christ we choose to live by every Word of God in Love, Truth, Holiness, Righteousness and Truth.
+For an extended list of things we have chosen in Christ please consult with your Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
    You are BLESSED! Amen!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

FAITH

-Understanding Faith
-Based on Hebrews 11:1
-FAITH in God is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed or ownership papers) of the things we trusting in God for.
-Faith in God is the proof that we have the things we do not see and being fully convinced of their reality.
-Faith in God is to foreknow and accept as real fact the promises of God that are not yet manifested or revealed to the senses.

However, Hebrews 11:6 NKJV says :
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.If you want some faith, start by finding out what God has said. Open your Bible and discover what belongs to you according to His Word.

Then ,Romans 4:16-25 NKJV shows us faith from a different perspective.
[16] Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all [17] (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; [18] who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” [19] And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. [20] He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, [21] and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. [22] And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” [23] Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, [24] but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, [25] who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.

-So Based of Romans 4:17
-Faith in God calls those things that are not as though they were.
-I didn’t say faith call those things that are as though they are not, (this is against scripture).
-Example: If a man is sick. His confession of faith shouldn’t be, “I’m not sick. I’m not sick.” His confession of faith should be, “I’m healed. I’m healed ” thus calling the things that are not as though they were.
-Continue to keep you faith in the Lord.

Amen.

+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to Jesus be all the glory. Amen!

WHEN WE ARE WEAK ,HE IS STRONG.

God is our Strength Forever
Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD GOD is our EVERLASTING STRENGTH:
+Let us live everyday for the rest of our lives in the Everlasting Strength of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if any man be IN Christ, he is a new creation…
+We are in Christ our Lord Who is our EVERLASTING STRENGTH. Hallelujah!
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is the STRENGTH of our lives.
Ephesians 6:10
Be Strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might.
+You are strong, and because God is the strength of your life, you are God-Strong!
Hallelujahs to Jesus!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the STANDARD for your LIFE. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus Loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

ONE WITH GOD

Being ONE With God
+What does it mean to be ONE with God?
+Being ONE with God starts with Salvation (having received Jesus Christ in our hearts as our personal Lord and Savior).
1 Corinthians 6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is ONE spirit.

1 Oneness with God starts when the Holy Spirit entering our hearts and becoming ONE Spirit with our spirits in our hearts.

2 Oneness with God also starts with our minds having been renewed by the Word of God.

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that GOOD and ACCEPTABLE and PRRFECT will of God
+We have Oneness with God.
+Let us value and appreciate this relationship. Amen!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust, and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED we are and BLESSED we will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen.

Lamentations 3:21-23 says:
“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
