THANK YOU LORD

Those of us who live to see 2012, have so much to give God thanks for. We need to thank God for waking us up each day, for every trial and storm He brought us through, for every mountain, for every valley that has the shadow of death; for every evil  and disappointment that He turned into good. I don’t know what you want to do or are going to do but I give Him all the glory, the praise, and the thanks, because one thing I am certain about is that, God always finishes what He starts. He that begin a good work in you, will perform it to the end, it’s written  in the Bible. Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”  The Bible said it.I believe it. So that settles it. GOD WILL SEE ME THROUGH 2012 LIKE HE DID ALL THE OTHER YEARS. SO MY HOPE, MY TRUST, AND CONFIDENCE IS BUILT ON ONLY JESUS CHRIST FOR 2012. Don’t forget John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'” Again the Bible said it, I believe it,that settles it. DO YOU BELIEVE?

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

People love to make new years resolutions and before the month of January ends they break them, while others will stick it out until the summer. However, by the end of the year it’s all in the garbage or out the door. Steve Harvey said his grandmother or his mother always said, “If you want to make God laugh then tell Him your plans.” Which is true and Biblical, because Isaiah 55:8-9 says,”For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord.” If you read further, the verse talks about how the distance between our thoughts and God’s thoughts are not even close. Therefore, you better seek God and ask Him what is His new years resolution for you.

Most people fail to realize that God told us in Jeremiah 29:11,”For  I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord…” Do you know the plans He has for you? Is your new years resolutions your plans or His? Is it your will or His will? Are they your desires or His desires? How do you know what will happen tomorrow? So what are you planning? (Read James 4:13-17) Did you know that your steps are ordered by the Lord? It says so in Psalm 37:23, so you should be seeking His new years resolution for your life and not your hidden agenda, not your hidden plans, not your resolutions; don’t forget that your plans and ways are not like His, as I mentioned earlier. Your resolution should line up with God’s plans for you, which will be better than your own plans.

So this year don’t make your own resolutions for the new year, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, as it says in Matthew 6:33 and allow God to add the husband, the job, the house, the car, the dog and even the boat if it’s what your heart desires. Is there anything too hard for God (Jeremiah 32:27) or are you one of the folks Jesus was referring to when He said, “Oh ye of  little faith.”(Matthew 6:30)

No my friends this is not impossible, listen to what Matthew 19:26 says, “But Jesus looked at them and said to them,’With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” So lets trust God with our new years resolutions, because He is the only one who knows the future.

This new years allow God to make your resolutions, and seek Him for His will, and ways Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to, Trust in the Lord with all our heart; and don’t rely on our own understanding, but instead acknowledge Him in all our ways so that He can direct our paths. Proverbs 16:3-9, Psalm 37:23, and Jeremiah 10:23 and many more scriptures all point to God as the one who will direct us into the future. Do you know Him or want to know Him?

A GOOD GIFT

This is the time of year when most gifts are given. Most of us like our gifts and some of us don’t, but I say, “It is the thought that counts.” God thinks you are worthy of a gift. God, years ago, considered us worthy of a gift, so He sent Jesus, His only begotten son, just to redeem us, so we could be called His children, and be entitled to all the other gifts He has for us. It’s sad when at this time of the year most people have not accepted the best gift of all, Jesus. It is when one accepts Jesus that they will have a right to God’s other gifts.

God said that, “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” Psalm 84:11. Are you walking uprightly, Holy and righteously so that God will give you good things? Most people fail to realize that God wants to give us the desires of our hearts, that’s why we need to read the Bible to know how to walk upright, and to know what we are entitled to as children of God who are walking in righteousness. As children of God do you know all the gifts you have received and are entitled to on a daily basis and not just once a year at Christmas.

However, I must inform you that your sins can and will stop God’s gifts from coming. Jeremiah 5:25 tells us “Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you.” God will not give you anything if you are going to give it to the devil, that’s why He sent Jesus, to take back everything the devil stole from us, and give it back to us,that’s why in Luke 10:19 He tells us,“Behold, I (Jesus) give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Jesus is the reason for the season. Jesus came so that we can get back in right standing with God  and  receive the full benefits and privileges of the children of God. We have so many gifts as children of God some of us seem to forget. Like the gift of eternal life, we are entitled to the Abrahamic promises and all the promises written in the Bible, our citizenship is in heaven, and so much more. So you tell me, have you received the ultimate gifts from God already?  What gift could you receive this holiday that could top, what you already have from God?

If you haven’t received any of these gifts or you are not entitled to any you could change all that right now. Just go to the top of this blog ,click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. You will not get or be entitled to any of God’s gifts without first accepting His ultimate gift of His son Jesus Christ. Let me assure you God will not give you anything until you know who it’s coming from? Which is Him, and why you received it? because of His son Jesus Christ, and your obedience to remain faithful, Holy and righteous to Him. Give God the gift of your heart this Christmas, and you will get all the gifts He has in store for you.

Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to Him who is Immortal and invisible, the only wise God, Our Savior, be glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to release this message to you in Jesus name, Amen.

JESUS OR SANTA CLAUS

Jesus is the real santa Claus, and He does not need a chimney, nor reindeer’s to take Him from place to place. His gifts are real and not perishable, plus we get it all year-long not just at Christmas time. His gifts are good and perfect. James 1:17 tells us that ,”Every good, and  every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” His gifts are not fake, and He always delivers, no matter the time of day or the weather conditions.

Another thing, Jesus does not lives in the North pole, but He lives anywhere and everywhere He chooses, because He is omnipresent. Parents it’s time to stop telling your children and grand-children about santa Claus. Let the children know who Jesus is and the best Christmas gift that we ever received from Him; was Him coming to give His life so that we could reconnect with God and have eternal life. Listen, God is the only one who supplies our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 ), not santa Claus. Are you interested in knowing who Jesus is and what He has done for you?

Jesus is not a figment of our imagination, He is real. If you are interested in knowing Jesus, go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. Don’t stop there, find a church that believes in God and His son Jesus Christ so that you can develop, and be taught the Word of God. You must also read the Bible daily for information on the infallible and unadulterated word of God,ask God for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as you read His word, allow God to lead and guide you into all truth, and I pray that He will.

Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory, with exceeding joy; To the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the only Wise God be the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to get His message out to His children. May He give you the spiritual necessities to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying and act accordingly, in Jesus Name.Amen.

LOOKING BACK

Birthdays allow us the privilege of looking at where you have evolved from and what you have developed into. Most of us give God the glory, praise, and thanks while others attribute it to what they did or what some earthly person did. Some say it’s luck to live to see another birthday.Unfortunately most people give credit to everything and everyone except the one who can literally take your breath away and not just for a moment but forever. On my birthday I looked back and just had to thank God for the amount of times he saved my butt from death and destruction, so that I am alive to celebrate another day, much less a birthday (that’s my bonus).

Most people like to tell folks not to look back, but it’s what you are looking back at. Are you looking at how God brought you through or over the hump, or are you still in the hump trying to figure your way out? Are you looking at the faith you had to move the mountain and developing the confidence to do it again? Are you looking at the size of the mountain, or the God who made the mountain? The God who gave you His son(Jesus), who tells you that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, that you can move a mountain. Take a look back at Luke 17:19-20…

“Afterwards the disciple asked Jesus privately, ‘Why couldn’t we cast out the demons?’ You didn’t have enough faith, Jesus told them, I assure you, even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed, you could say to the mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it would move, nothing would be impossible.” So  what are you looking back at? The hurt and pain or the solution to the hurt and pain. Folks you have to look back in the Bible to see how Jesus and the others did it. Hebrews 11 gives you a summary of a few of them. If you are looking back, look back to gain strength, to encourage yourself, to know you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you(Philippians 4:13).

Looking back I can rejoice and give God the praise, glory, and thanks, for never leaving or forsaking me, for waking me up every morning to see another day and for keeping me in perfect peace, because I kept my mind on Him. Five decades later, I can say I survived because He kept me. So on December 12th, my birthday, He sent me this message from Romans 12:1-2 and Romans 12:12. To continue to present my body as a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable unto God, which is a reasonable service; and not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, so that I will be able to know what His good, acceptable and perfect will is for the rest of my life…

Then in Romans 12:12, it says that I should rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and continue instant in prayer. That was God’s text message to me about my future when I look back at His word in the Bible. When was the last time you looked back in God’s word for a message He has for you? So how will you know what to do if you don’t look in His word? How will you know the things He did for you? How will you know who to follow or listen to? Take this opportunity and get to know God and His son (Jesus). Go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions.

Then don’t stop there, find a church that knows and follows the God of the universe through His son Jesus.May  God give you the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to make the right decisions and keep and guide you in all truth in Jesus name, Amen.

Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God, be glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to inform His children that they should look back at Jesus’s examples and follow them because He gave us the victory and power over the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lets exercise it and evict the enemies of God out of our lives in Jesus name.Amen.

WHO OR WHAT IS VALUABLE ?

You determine who or what is valuable in your life, not your spouse, your family, nor your friends. I tend to agree with the saying, “seven brothers, seven different minds.” Imagine two men with the same father, with the same privileges, who has access to everything the father owns, same power and authority, and the same choice to obey or disobey their fathers wishes. There are many things you just can’t blame the devil for, you have to blame yourself, and the greedy desires inside of you, that never gets satisfied.

Adam had everything to his hearts desire in the garden of Eden, and he didn’t even have to ask God for anything. God saw his need and supplied it; He realized that Adam was lonely and said it was not good so He made Eve. So the question is if he had everything, why did he desire more? It’s because of greed, and you can’t blame Eve, because he was the man in charge, and you can blame the devil because he must have had some knowledge of the devils downfall,or he should have inquire, because God never withhold information or anything from His children. The choice was his. To obey or disobey. Adam allowed his greed, lust, and thirst for things he did not need to manipulate his decision.

Now years later, Adam’s brother, named Jesus, came to rectify the problem. Jesus too had everything Adam had, the power, authority, and privileges, but when the devil offered him the same things he offered Adam, Jesus refused it, because His relationship with His Father (God) was more important than anything the devil had to offer Him. Jesus also knew that God His father owns everything, so it’s not for the devil to give, unless he stole it from someone (Adam). Jesus shows us that to obey God is better than sacrificing His love, protection, and guidance, more than the stolen goods the devil had to offer. So who or what is more valuable to you? God or the devil, Heaven or Hell, death or eternal life, like Adam and Jesus the choice is yours.

Are you so greedy that you would sacrifice God’s perfect gifts, for the devil’s stolen trinkets or borrowed goods which will not last forever. Matthew 16:26 says it best, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Adam tried it and lost everything, and dragged us into this mess, but Jesus came and made it right, but we have to choose to follow Jesus which is not an easy road because the devil will be fighting to get you back, are you going to let the devil win? After Jesus already secured the victory and gave it to us.

Remember the devil was God’s best angel until he disobeyed and tried to take over. The devil was kicked out without any chance of returning, so he tricked Eve and Adam into thinking that disobeying God is fun, so they both and many others found out the hard way. Don’t let this happen to you follow Jesus’ example, which shows and proves that obeying God is better than sacrificing everything. Jesus is God’s gift to us, He is the only way to God, you will find it in John 14:6 where Jesus tells us that, He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one goes to God without going through Him. What is it why people refuse to accept Jesus? Is it too good to be true? or do you just choose to live for the devil, regardless of the consequences? But it is your life and it is also your choice.

The opportunity is yours to choose and live for God through His only begotten son Jesus Christ. Just go to the top of this blog and click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. It will be the best thing you ever did. However, don’t stop there find a God-fearing, Jesus believing, and Holy ghost filled church where you can fellowship and grow. I also recommend for further studies and information on the infallible and unadulterated word ,then you must read the Bible. Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God be glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to deliver this message to His children. Let those who have an ear, hear and listen to what the Spirit of the Lord has to say, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

DEFEATING DEPRESSION/OPPRESSION

This is the time of year when a lot of people get depressed for many reasons. It could be the loss of loved ones, remembering how good life used to be for them, not enough money to shop, but whatever the situation maybe, as long as you are alive to see another day don’t let it get you down. Don’t let the devil see you sweat. This is the time of the year where if you are alive you have a million things to thank God for. But to defeat depression and oppression you have to first ask yourself , “Why am I feeling this way? And realize that you can put a stop or end to it, by eliminating it out of your thoughts, and looking for better things to occupy your thoughts. Above all look to God, trust in God, and hope in God. Lets look at how a few experts handled depression/oppression.

David said in Psalms 42:11, Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise Him again my Savior and my God.” (New Living Translation)  It was agonizing to David because in the previous verse he said it hurt to the bones, like many of us older folks and young like to say. Even though he felt depressed and oppressed he always snapped out of it, by looking to God. In Psalm 121:1-2, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord who make the heaven and the earth.” Stop looking down at the devil he can’t help you, lift your head up and look to God.Stop seeking mans solutions and seek God’s;As Deuteronomy 4: 29-31 tells us “But from there you will seek the Lord your God,and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul, when you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice, for the Lord your God is a merciful God;He will not forsake you or destroy you,nor forget the covenant of your fathers, which He swore to them.‘And remember God don’t lie (Numbers 23:19&Hebrews 6:18).

Jesus our savior went through depression/oppression also, and this is how He handle it in Matthew 26:36-41, “Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith to His disciples, sit here while I go and pray yonder, and He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and began to be sorrowful and very depressed (heavy), then saith He unto them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death, tarry here and watch with Me. And He went a little further and fell on His face and prayed; saying, ‘O my Father if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt’….watch and pray, that ye enter not in temptation; the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”

Then, Paul give us a different look at depression/oppression in 2 Corinthians 12:7 -10 which reads, “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure, concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me, and He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness,’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me; Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake; For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

There it is folks, three different people, three different scenarios all handled the same way, and there are many stories all over the Bible that tells you of people who trusted and depended on God. Read Hebrews 11 it gives you a list of some of the people, and I am a living witness. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Psalms 55:22 tell us to, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Are you righteous? If yes, then you are included in this promise.

Then Peter tell us in 1 Peter 5:6-7 to “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon Him; For He careth for you.” These are just a few ways to handle depression/oppression. The Bible is full of examples, try reading it. My favorite is Isaiah 26:3 “He will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind on Him, because you trust in Him.” If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you can identify with this. If you didn’t then go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. Once you do this you will be starting on the right path to heaven and give everything to God so He can run things properly in your life.

I pray that God will give you the spiritual necessities to receive His word, live and abide by them; and will lead you to a place where you can learn and grow into His kingdom. Read the Bible for teachings on the infallible, unadulterated word of God in Jesus name. Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the Immortal, Invisible, the only wise God, Our Savior be the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me His faithful servant to articulate this message to His children.

IT’S NOT A SECRET

Do you really think no one knows your dirty little secrets? Well the secret started out with you and the person, then you both told your friends, then they told their friends (that are not your friends), then you tell one or two of your family members, then they tell other family members and their friends (that most likely are not your friends), then before you know it more people are privy to the information than you intended to be kept a secret. My intention is to let you know that it was not a secret from when you first thought about it, because God knows your thoughts and intentions from before you formulate it. Isn’t that amazing. So who is it really a secret from, because once it materializes, it spreads like a wildfire out of control.

But that’s what sin does if you don’t contain it or nip it in the bud from when it starts. Once sin starts it festers into something worse and shameful which will hurt or harm you somewhere in your future. Just ask a politician how their deep little dirty secrets just pop up out of nowhere when they try to get ahead in life. Or ask the thief who wants a job in a bank. There are no secrets in this world because God sees and knows everything; and you can’t run or hide from God, not in the past, now, or anytime. Jonah tried to run from God and end up causing trouble for people who weren’t involved in his mess, plus he ended up in the belly of a fish for three days and nights (Jonah 1:1-17). Running from God is a sin of disobedience. Are you secretly running from God?

Another person who found out in more ways than one that you can’t keep secrets from God or hide from Him was David. David tried to cover up his secret affair with Bath Sheba and have her husband killed to coverup the pregnancy, which would have exposed them. God saw their dark dirty secret and sent the prophet Nathan to tell David that He (God) knew about their “secret” and it will not go unpunished (Read 2 Samuel chapters 12-13). Now do you think you have any secrets? This is not big brother watching (the slogan the police or government use to watch criminals and protect the innocent) it’s the God of the universe who makes all things and everyone who sits high and looks low.

No, you will not get away with the evil that you do that you think is a big secret. So like everyone who wants forgiveness from God, you should start confessing to God and turn from your evil ways, because one way or another you will be punished. The devil was kicked out of heaven for secretly plotting to take over from God, who made him. When God kicked him out it was then the devil realized that God is omnipresent – present everywhere, Omniscient-knows everything; Omnipotent-all powerful. The devil found out the hard way and is now doomed forever, he is heading for the lake of fire and brimstone. Is that what you want? Is the lake of fire and brimstone where you want to go?

In Psalm 139:7-12 David said, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there; If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost part of the sea (like Jonah), even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, ‘surely the darkness shall fall on me’, even the night shall be light about me; indeed the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.” Folks you can’t hide from God. Your secrets are not a secret, God is watching. Whatever is done in darkness God will always reveal, but there is hope.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 God says, “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” There is the answer to the world’s problem my friends are you ready and will to do what God says? God knows our secret thoughts and actions. If you are willing to confess and turn from your sins, He is willing to forgive you, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you are willing He is able, so don’t delay just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instruction and get started.

Then find a Bible believing, God-fearing, Jesus following, and Holy Spirit led church that will develop your faith and trust in God,in order to grow in the knowledge of God. May God give you spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to receive, and accept His message and lead you into all truth. Now unto Him that is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to Our King Eternal, Immortal, and Invisible, the only Wise God, Our Savior be glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me as a messenger to bring His message to His children. May His grace and mercies be yours now and forever in Jesus name. Amen.

HOW COULD YOU?

How can you say that you know and love God but you refuse to live for Him? How can you say you love and know Him yet you do not spend time with Him? Did you read your Bible today? Have you prayed today? Have you told Him thank you for letting you see a brand new day? I ask again, how can you say you love Him but you don’t acknowledge Him, obey His commands, praise Him, or worship Him? What are your plans today? Do your plans include Him? if not how can you say you know Him. If it’s not God you know then it’s the devil you are serving.

There are only two people in the world that demand our time and attention, God and the devil. Now the question is which of the two have your undivided attention? Which of the two do you spend most of your time with? Which of the two do you fear the most? Which of the two are you obedient to? One is evil and one is good. One loves while the other hates. One has a place prepared for you through His Son Jesus Christ in heaven, where there is love, peace, joy, no sickness, and a whole lot more. The other has a place waiting for you in hell, where you are tormented for eternity. Which one are you serving?

How can you say you love and serve Him and still do the things you do with your body like committing adultery, fornication, stealing, lying, and thinking about things that are contrary to His word. How can you say you love and serve Him and don’t present your bodies as living sacrifices to Him. A body that is Holy and acceptable which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1-2). How can you say you love Him and know Him but not allow Him to direct your path. How can you say you know and love Him and still live how the devil wants you to live?

It’s time to wake up. I am not here to judge you just to inform you that time is running out. Romans 13:11-14 says:

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; For now our salvation is nearer than when we first believe. The night is far spent, the day is at hand; Therefore let us cast off the work of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light; Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness (sexual immorality) and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus  Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts.”

If you love God don’t allow the good inside you to be spoken as evil, which simply means that be willing to walk in righteousness and have peace and joy in the Holy Spirit for whoever serves in Christ, in these things, are acceptable to God and approved by men(Romans 14:16-18). You can’t serve two masters, it is impossible because you will love one more than the other (Matthew 6:24). Can you honestly say you love God and still follow the devil? Time is running out so choose this day to serve. Allow God to lead you out of the devils temptations. Are you ready for this step?
