DECISION TIME

Everyone reaches that point in their life, where you have to make that crucial decision to serve God with all your heart, soul, and might; Because you have never met anyone who could love you any sweeter or better, after you have messed up so many times. This should propel  you to want to share with people the joys, thrills, and agonies of having someone there with you and for you at all times. Once people see the joy and peace that you display as a child of God they will want to know what makes you so joyful and peaceful.  1 Peter 3:15 tells us to sanctify the Lord God in our hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asked you a reason of the hope that is in you. Jesus never chased anyone down ,nor try to force Himself on anyone or force them to accept His Father because they have a choice.

In Matthew 28:18-20, He tells us to go out and teach all nations, and baptize them in the Name of the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and teach  them to observe all  things that He commands us, and the assurance that He will be with us. This simply means  that  if you are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ which is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes as Romans 1:16 tells us, then the Gospel of Christ is not a secret to keep to ourselves, and it will be the only gossip you spread that will not hurt someone but save them. The thing is we are living in the last days and Acts 1:7-8 tells us, that it’s none of our business or concern the time or seasons which God has put in His own authority, because when we receive the Holy Spirit, we will receive power, to be His witness, and our fear will diminish, since we can now tread on serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing can hurt us as Luke 10:19 reminds us.

When we accept Christ we are new creatures who obey God and live for God, so we do as Romans 12:1-2 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and present our bodies as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable unto God, because we no longer own ourself we now belong to God, who bought us with a price. Therefore, it’s no longer a secret what God can do, so it’s our duty to let the world know that when we call on the name of the Lord He will save you. However, Romans 10:13-15 says, How will people call on Him, know or believe Him if they don’t know Him,  that’s why our lives must show it, and we have to teach and preach the Gospel of Christ.

However, to teach and preach we must do as 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us, to study to show ourselves approved unto God, so that we are good soldiers in the army of the Lord unashamed and rightly dividing the word of truth. Since we are working for Him we have to hide His word in our hearts to keep us from sinning against Him this is seen in Psalms 119:11. Even though the lesson tries to show us that millions of people don’t know Jesus Christ, I believe the number is less, because with todays advanced technology, more people are reached on a daily basis, it’s just that the enemy has increase their appetite for sin, and has covered their faces with veils so that they don’t hear, see or care.

God has never forced His will or choice on us, and there is no excuse that they have not heard the word or seen His wonderful creation. Why are we limiting God as if He is not powerful enough to reach who He wants to reach and save who He wants to. Isaiah 59:1-2 tells us that the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear… Which means they will get the word one way or another, and the God I serve is limitless and all-powerful, full of mercy and grace, and anyone who dies not knowing God is not from lack of Him trying, because He will send you to someone or someone to you. So when He sends someone to me or me to them I am ready to do His will, but I will not force them, because God nor Jesus never forced anyone to do anything.

WAIT AND SEEK

The Lord is good unto those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord”
{Lamentations 3:25-36}. Most people get tired and weary while waiting for anything and anyone, but a Christian should not be like that, because, we have a God whose compassions, grace, mercy, and love never fails. He is not a liar or a deadbeat dad, and His yea is yea, and Amen is Amen. But the key to waiting patiently is what you do between the asking and the getting. Lamentations 3:25 & 26 says, to seek the Lord, hope, and quietly wait. Isaiah 40:31 says your strength will be renewed, you will mount up with wings like eagles, you will run and not be weary, and walk and not faint. But, you have to stay connected to the vine (Jesus), and abide in the Him, because without Jesus you can do nothing as John 15:5 indicates. While waiting Philippians 4:6 to 8, suggests that we should not be careful/anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgivung, let your requests be made known unto God; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And in verse eight He tells us what to think on,  like things that are true, honest, pure, lovely, and good things, to name a few.
In Joshua 1:7-9, God tells us that while waiting we should be strong, very courageous, observe and do what the Bible says by meditating on His word day and night. And finally Psalms 37:3-7 tells us to trust in the Lord, delight ourselves in the Lord, commit our way unto Him and He shall bring it to pass, and verse seven tells us to,”Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…”

Are you doing as God suggests during the waitng period? Are you complaining and murmuring, or just praising and thanking. Are you harboring doubts, fears, and disbelief or are you like Abraham as Romans 4:19-21 says,” And being not weak in faith…he (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was also able to perform.” Now are you willing to wait on the Lord? Are you going to do as He said to do while you wait? Is your faith, hope, trust and confidence going to increase? As Ephesians 3:20 says,”Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” The word of God is the power that works in us, because Hebrews 4:12 tells us it is quick and powerful, so let the word work.

If you don’t know Jesus and the power of His resurrection, and the power He gives us, then get started by going to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instructions, and then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and guide you for the rest of your journey, it will not be easy, but He promised never to leave nor forsake you.

FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN

Don’t ever allow the devil to bring up your past,as if God is holding it over your head,as a constant reminder of your sins;God forgives and forgets it. Unfortunately, most folks say that they will forgive someone, but they can’t forget what the person did, suppose God was like that, where would most of us be. Why would you want to hang on to the hurt and pain, while the other person forgot and moved on. Why would you block your blessings and hinder your forgiveness,by not letting it go? As Matthew 6:12 says,”And forgive us our debts,as we forgive our debtors”. Then Ephesians 4:32 puts it like this,”And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God,for Christ’s sake, hath forgiven you”. What,Most people don’t realize, and understand is that God, not only forgives sins,He forgets them. First,we must confess for our sins to be forgiven, and forgotten. 1John 1:9 says,”If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. Then Hebrews 10:16-17 says,”This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more”. Hebrews 8:12 says,”For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more”. Micah 7:18-19 puts it this way,”Who is a God like unto thee, who pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger forever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again; He will have compassion upon us;He will subdue our iniquities;and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea”. Behold, for peace I had great bitterness, but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption;for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back { Isaiah 38:17}. Which means when you don’t forgive and forget, you allow bitterness, anger, hatred, vengeance, and all kinds of evil to keep you in sin and bondage, which leads to unforgiveness. God said in Isaiah 43:25 “I,even I,am He who blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins”. I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, like a cloud, thy sins;return unto me;for I have redeemed thee { Isaiah 44:22}. Are you ready to return to God,well you can get started,by going to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instructions, then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit ti lead and direct you for the rest of the way. Forgive and forget,so that there is no stumbling block in your path or quest for righteousness.

KNOWING YOU’RE RIGHTEOUS

How do you know you are righteous? When you don’t allow unbelief, disobedience, doubts and fears to rob you of God’s promises, and you know without a shadow of doubt, that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all you ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us {Ephesians 3:20}. What is the power in us? There is two divine power at work in us, the Holy Spirit, which Acts 1:8 says,”But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit is come upon you…”,and 1John4:4 says,”Ye are of God,little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world”. Another power source we have as believers is the word of God,which Hebrews 4:12 describes thus,” For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. That’s why the Lord said,in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein;for then thou shalt make thy way properous, and thou shalt have good success”. Abraham is a good example to ,show us what it entails to be righteous,Romans4:19-22 says,” And being not weak in faith,he considered not his own body now dead(old),when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief ,but was strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised,He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness”. Wow! That’s awesome, and all it takes is belief, trust, confidence, faith, hope, and love of God to just obey Him. How much are you willing to give up to walk in and experience the fullness of joy in being righteous? You have to give it all up. Is it worth giving up all for Christ ? Absolutely, Jesus said in,Mark 10:29-30 “Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house,or brethren,or sisters,or father,or mother,or wife,or children,or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions;and in the age to come eternal life”. Isn’t that worth it? Have you given your life to Jesus Christ, and are in a committed relationship with Him? If not get started by going to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and guide you,for the rest of your life. If you claim you are a christian and not in a committed relationship with God,His word for you is in Revelation 3:15-16,”I know thy your works, that thou art neither cold nor hot;I would thou wert cold or hot. So,then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth”. So get your act together before it’s too late.

THE MOST EFFECTIVE WEAPON AGAINST THE ENEMY.

The first thing you must know, and understand is that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God ..{2 Corinthians 10:3}. Which means we can’t be effective, and victorious in the war without God. Jesus tells us in John 15:5b”for without me ye can do nothing”. The devils job is to steal, kill and destroy the seed of the word that God sowed in us,as Mark4:14-20 tells us. Why would the devil do that? Because,he knows that if we fully obey God’s word it will cripple and destroy all of his present and future attacks, why? “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” as Hebrews 4:12 says;and Jesus demonstrate this to us in Matthew 4:4-10,by telling the enemy “IT IS WRITTEN”.The devil does not want us to read, study, nor obey the word, because it gives him an advantage over us. That’s why God said in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack if knowkedge…” In Proverbs 4:4-7 it says,”He taught me also, and said unto me,let thine heart retain my words;keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding;forget it not, neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not,and she shall preserve thee, love her,and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing;therefore, get wisdom;and with all thy getting, get understanding”. Then James 1:5 says,”If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not,and it shall be given him”. Which means there is no reason why you can’t be empowered by the word, and through the word. To use a weapon effectively you have to read the manufactures manual,so to use the number one most effective weapon, you have to study the manual to get the maximum use. However, Your love for God,demonstrated by your full obedience to His word will empower you through the indwelling Holy Spirit, who resides in you,to cripple, frustrate, weaken, the enemy with effective and devastating blows, beyond your wildest imaginations. Defeat is not an option in a christians life, because Jesus said in Luke 10:19 ” Behold,I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scirpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you “. Use your weapon, which is the word if God. The Holy Spirit in us speaks the word of God,and God said in Isaiah 55:11″So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth;it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”. So live holy and righteous,so that you will be able to demonstrate the power of God’s spoken word, against the enemy.

FEAR NOT; BE STRONG

Why are christians fearful, when God tells us ,so many times, not to be afraid. Let me list a few scriptures that reassures us of this: Isaiah 43:1″ Fear not,for I have redeemed thee,I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine”. Have you been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb? Galatians3:13 reminds us that,”Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us;for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree”. Then Revelation 5:9 says,”And they sang a new song, saying,Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals;for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation”. So now that we know that we belong to God,Romans 8:15 reminds us,”For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear”. For God hath not given us the spirit if fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”{2Timothy 1:7}. What we must know and understand is that,”Ye are of God,little children, and have overcome them;because,Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world”{1 John 4:4}. Then Psalm 118:6 tells us what to say,and how to think,”The Lord is on my side,I will not fear. What can man do unto me? ” He told Joshua ,and is telling us,”Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage,be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee wherever thou goest”Joshua 1:9. Thus saith the Lord unto you,be not afraid or dismayed by reason of this great multitude;for the battle is not yours, but God’s,says,2 Chronicles 20:15. We must also remember what Ephesians 6:10-12 says,”Finally,my brethren,be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, put on the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. And to confirm this 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 says,”For though we walk in the flesh,we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience ,when your obedience is fulfilled”. For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him,who is the head of all principality and power, according to Colossians 2:9-10. And Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “Behold,I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power if the enemy;and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. So why are we afraid,or scared. “Fear not, neither be afraid, have I not told thee from that time, and have declared it? Ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Yea,there is no God,I know not any”{Isaiah 44:8}.

GOD UNDERSTANDS

Of course,God understands, and His messages are loud and clear. “If you love me, keep my commandments”{John 14:14}. Are you? Then verse twenty three says,” If a man loves me,he will keep my words…” Are you? Of course God understands that you don’t love Him,because, you love the world and the things of the world more than Him. Therefore, this is His answer,” Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man(person) love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,is not of the Father, but is of the world” {1John 2:15-16}. From where come wars and fightings among you? Come they not here, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not,ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain;ye fight and war,yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask,and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever, therefore, will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, the spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith,God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves, therefore,to God,resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh/near to God,and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands,ye sinners;and purify your hearts,ye double-minded(James 4:1-8). God only understands obedience, you love Him you do as He says. What do you want God to understand, when you are going against His will, and plans for your life. Here is Gods answer to you,”Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of  witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord…” Samuel 15:22&23]. What is it you want God to understand? That you are rebellious, disobedient, and you don’t love Him,as you pretend to. In Matthew 6:24 God says,”NO MAN CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS;for either he will hate the one,and love the other,or else he hold to one,and despise the other. YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MONEY/MAMMON”. Yes folks,God does understand clearly that you don’t love Him. However, you can change that,by going to the top of this blog, then click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you for the rest of the journey. The choice is yours,He laid it out for us in Deuteronomy 30:14-20,and 1John 1:9-10. So there is no excuse. The more God’s word saturates our minds, the closer we get to Him,and understand what His will and plans for us are.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MORNING PRAYER

Prayer is the primary way to communicate with God,and from the days of Moses we see that the best time to talk to God is in the morning. This is the time that He has your undivided attention ,and you have His. This is the time that you are able to completly present yourself as a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable unto Him,so that you can prove what is His good and acceptable will for you,as Romans 12:1&2 suggest. Morning prayers set you on the right path in obedience to Proverbs 3:5&6,which suggest that we should, trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Him ,and He shall direct out path. Which indicates that you should talk to Him first. It is also very important, that you should not be seen, when it’s time to pray privately,as God instructed Moses in Exodus 34:2-3. Then Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:5-7 not to pray openly on street or churches like hypocrites, but to pray in secret, and our Heavenly Father will reward us openly;and in Matthew 14:23 we see Jesus demonstrate this by sending the multitude away, and go up into the mountain to privately pray,He prayed until evening come, which means to know God’s will, you must spend time in His presence. To hear from God, you have to go alone, because,it’s not everything you can share with others. In Luke 22:41-44 we see that Jesus was going through a period where He could not share certain things with His disciples it was just between Him and God. He was making a request that He didn’t want no one to know about, and He prayed earnestly till His sweat turned into blood. However, the Lord sent and angel to strengthen Him and His advice was to pray so that we don’t fall into temptation, because His moment of agony was a temptation to quit and not accomplish the thrill of victory over death, the grave and sin. In Psalms 5:3 David said,”My voice you shall hear in the morning,O Lord;in the morning I will direct it to you,and I will look up”.

When you are in the presence of God in prayer, it is good to spend some time worshipping Him, instead of asking for things, and be ready or prepared to learn something;because you are in His classroom. From Moses to Jesus to us,we see the power of prayers. That’s why the Bible encourages us to pray without ceasing{ 1 Thessalonians 5:17} Because prayers give God access and permission to act on our behalf, to do things we cannot do and go to places we cannot go.
In Luke 18:1,Jesus said, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Then Ephesians 6:17 says that we should be praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. If you don’t pray it means you are not connected to the vine, who is God. To get connected you have to go through Jesus,so if you are not and want to,just go to the top of this blog, then click on to the salvation page ,and follow the instructions, then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and direct you.

CRITICAL CHOICE

Most folks love multiple choice exams, because it’s easy, but for those who have difficulties in choosing; God has made it simple and easy by suggesting ,what and who to choose. Making the right choice is not easy in some cases, however, when the word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path, then the Holy Spirit will teach us all things.”But the word is very near unto thee,in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See,I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God,to ealk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, that thou mayest live and multiply;and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land to which thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away,so that thou wilt not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them,I declare unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land,to which thou passest over the Jordon to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing;therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. That thou mayest love the Lord thy God,and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him;for He is thy life, and the length of thy dayskthat thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord swore unto thy fathers,to Abraham,to Isaac, and to Jacob,to give them,
{ Deuteronomy 30:14-20}. There it is God not only made it easy for us to choose,He tells us what to choose,so don’t delay go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instructions, and get started, then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and direct you,for the rest of your life.

GENEROSITY IN GIVING

It is more blessed to give that to receive this we see in Acts 20:35. Then we see in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that we should not give grudgingly becuase God loves a cheerful giver. But giving originates with God our Father and Creator, who is always giving us something. He gave us His Son Jesus, He gives us life, health, and everything we need as Philippians 4:19 shows us. Therefore we should love to give to others less fortunate than us just like our Daddy. Remember, we are made in His image and likeness.

How can you say you are a child of God and love God, yet don’t help your brothers and sisters in Christ. If we don’t give we will not receive; Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give unto you. For with the same measure you measure, it shall be measured unto you.” Which means giving releases you blessings. In Deuteronomy 15:4 it tells us that there should be no poor among us that we don’t help, because we don’t want to refuse to help them and then they cry to God for help then as Deut. 15:9 says, it becomes a sin that falls on you. Which will stop the flow of your blessings from God.

When you are operating in the overflow God wants you to help the less fortunate and the unfortunate folks around you. Remember that poor folks are blessed people as we see in the beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12 and is confirmed in Luke 6:20-24. If you do good for only those who do good for you then there is no reward for you as we see in Matthew 5:45-48 therefore we are called to give and be perfect like our heavenly Father.

When giving remember 2 Corinthians 9:6, what you sow you will reap. Therefore, as Romans 12:8 tells us, “When giving give liberally.” and as Deuteronomy 15:10 says, don’t let your heart be grieved when you give.

It’s good to give to the poor they will always be among us as Deut 15:11 points out. If you haven’t accepted God’s gift of eternal life through His only begotten Son,to do so,simple go to the top of this blog click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you ,for the rest of your life.

All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. I pray that He will give all who read this message the spiritual gifts necessary to comprehend and act upon His word. I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. I ask God the Father if our Lord Jesus Christ to let loose the Holy Spirit Like the day if pentecost, and the Heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.
