TRADITIONS AND RITUALS

Psalms 78:36-42 NKJV
[36] Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue; [37] For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant. [38] But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath; [39] For He remembered that they were but flesh, A breath that passes away and does not come again. [40] How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert! [41] Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel. [42] They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,

Matthew 15:3-6, 8-11 NKJV
[3] He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? [4] For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ [5] But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— [6] then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.
[8] ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. [9] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” [10] When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: [11] Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Matthew 15:14-20 NKJV
[14] Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” [15] Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.” [16] So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? [17] Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? [18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. [19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. [20] These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Titus 1:15-16 NKJV
[15] To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. [16] They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Jude 1:24-25 NKJV
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, [25] To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

LOVE

GOD IS LOVE AND LOVE NEVER FAILS. THEREFORE, WE MUST NEVER FAIL TO LOVE, BECAUSE LOVE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SIN.

A Word on LOVE

John 3:16 NKJV
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 12:9
Let LOVE be without dissimulation (hypocrisy)…
+If we cannot Love God, we cannot Love others, and if we cannot Love other, we are not Loving God.
1 Tim 5:21
…doing nothing by PARTIALITY (personal prejudice or favoritism).
+Love is always without PARTIALITY.
+Love has no beginning, and Love never ends.
+Before we came into this world Love existed, and after we leave Love will continue to exist.
+There isn’t a time when Love is not needed.
+Love always gives WHAT is needed, and WHEN it’s needed.
+Love is indispensable and a thriving factor in life. Amen!
+Love is Pure, Holy, Righteous, and True, and Love never fails because God is Love. Amen!

I John 2:15-16 NKJV
[15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

I John 4:7-11 NKJV
[7] Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. [8] He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. [9] In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

•Jesus said continue in “My Love” and let the WORD of God continues be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ our Lord Loves us, and we continue to keep our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.

Amen.

•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

MOVING FORWARD

As philippians 3:13-14 plainly says : “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

•You are in Christ, and in Christ your sins are forgiven, your past is forgotten and your future is secure.
•The enemy (the devil) like to remind you of your past sins through your own thoughts, friends and family.
•Your Loving Heavenly Father has already forgiven you of all sins and trespasses because Christ has redeemed us by His Blood.
•Do not let the enemy oppress you and stress your mind with your past sins.

As 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us :
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
•In the Name of Jesus you are free from the sins of your past in your spirit, soul, mind, and body.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [ Jude 1:24-25 NKJV]

+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

BOLDNESS

Godly BOLDNESS
BOLD: to be confident and sure; not hesitating or fearful, but courageous.
Prov 28:1
…the righteous are BOLD as a lion.
+You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21), and you have the BOLDNESS of Christ who is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
+When we go to God’s Throne of Grace in prayer we must go with trust, confidence and surety without hesitation. With the attitude of faith in God and BOLDNESS.
+We will always obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Ephesians 6:18-20 says when we pray with all prayers and supplication in the Spirit, utterance will be given unto us to speak BOLDLY like we ought to speak. In the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ.
+God expects this kind of BOLDNESS from us. Continue to exercise your Godly BOLDNESS in Christ Jesus Lord. This also is well pleasing with God. Amen!
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

GOD’S PLANS AND WISHES FOR HIS CHILDREN.

” For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” ( Jeremiah 29: 11-13 AMP ).

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.  For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” ( 3 John 1:2-4 KJV ).

+The Word WISH here means that in all things and prayers God’s desires for us is  Prosperity and Good Health.
+God made sure that this is written in Scripture for us to know that Prosperity and Good Health is His will for us.
+God has Granted this Wish for us through Christ Jesus our Lord.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ” ( Romans 8: 31-32 KJV).

” For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” ( 2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV  ). Meditate on this, and let it sink in:
Jesus became poor (took our poverty) so we can become rich with His riches.

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV says:
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

” who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” ( 1 Peter 2:24 NKJV). LISTEN: By His Stripes He took all sicknesses and diseases for us so we can have Good Health.

” Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,  as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,  by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.  For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;  for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” ( 2 Peter 1: 2-11 NKJV).

+By Faith receive God’s Wish of Prosperity and Good Health, and thank Him for it.
+Thanksgiving is an expression of Faith.

Continue to thank Him and be blessed forevermore. In The Almighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED we are and BLESSED we will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

As Jude 1:24-25 AMPC says :
” Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]–  To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).”

DISCIPLESHIP

The Mark of the Disciples of Christ.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. ( Matthew 28: 18-20 NKJV).

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” ( Mark 16:15-18 NKJV).

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. [35] By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13 : 34-35 NKJV).

If you LOVE me, keep my commandments.
+The LOVING of Christ and the LOVING of one another is evidence that we are Disciples of Christ.
+Remember the FRUIT of the SPIRIT (the FRUIT of the HEART of those who follow Christ) is LOVE.
+The HEARTS of all Disciples of Christ are filled with the LOVE of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
+Can our HEARTS be filled with the LOVE of Christ and Hatred, Unforgiveness, Bitterness, Wickedness and Evil at the same time?
+Let us judge ourselves that we be not judged, and let the LOVE of God the Judge.
+May we all be found guilty of His love and not guilty of the devil’s unrighteousness.

“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” ( Colossians 3: 14-17 NKJV).

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,  To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. ” [ Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV].

•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

RELATIONSHIP IS OBEDIENCE.

So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you ….” ( 1 Samuel 15 : 22-23 NKJV).

” But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. [24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” ( John 4 : 23-24 NKJV ).

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” ( John 14 : 15 NKJV)

If you are praying to God and never hear Him tell you about yourself and how your ways are not pleasing to Him, then you are faking a relationship with Him. A true relationship with the Lord is not one sided with you directing the events. You are not God! Stop acting like it. Prayer is a two way communication with Him on the throne and you humbly submitting to His leadership.

” By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? ( 1 John 5:2-5 NKJV )

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [ Jude 1:24 -25 NKJV].

LET IT GO.

The bitterness, the anger, the hatred  let it all go. The hurt, the betrayal, the sin let it all go. Holding on to these things will only block your blessings. If your mind, heart, and soul is full with those things, then you can’t receive the daily blessings God has for you.

Do you know that harboring those things in your heart and mind, will ruin your life.

God tells us in   Psalms 55:22 NKJV to :
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

Then in  Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV He suggested:
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. [19] Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Here are some of the things God tells us to do:

II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV
[3] For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, [5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, [6] and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Philippians 3:12-16 NKJV
[12] Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. [13] Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, [14] I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. [16] Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

Hebrews 12:14-15 NKJV
[14] Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: [15] looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

I Peter 5:6-11 NKJV
[6] Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [9] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. [10] But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. [11] To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Amen.

HIGH ALERT

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.  But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” ( 1 Peter 5 : 8- 10 NKJV)

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”( 1 Corinthians 15: 58 NKJV).

Matthew 24:4-14 NKJV says:
“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.   All these are the beginning of sorrows.  “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.  And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.  But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.  To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”(1 Peter 5:6-11 NKJV).

“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”( James 4:6-10 NKJV)

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [ Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV].

WAIT

Waiting upon the Lord is a Blessing

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! “(Psalms 27:14 NKJV).

” Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.” (Psalms 37:34 NKJV).

” I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.” ( Psalms 40 : 1 NKJV).

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. ” ( Habakkuk 2: 3 NKJV).

“And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” ( Isaiah 25: 9 NKJV).

“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” ( Isaiah 40:31 NKJV).

-In your time of waiting upon the Lord your strength is renewed.
-Mount up with wings of Eagles is God lifting you above the situation. This is for you to look down on the situation and see things from God’s point of view.
-Run and not be weary is the new strength God gave you to complete your journey.
-Now you are back to walking again and this time you will not faint. All because you have waited upon the Lord.

Amen.

•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!
