THE EMPOWERING WORD OF GOD.

” But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.”(Deuteronomy 30:14 NKJV).

Psalms 119:11, 105, 130, 133 NKJV says:
[11] Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
[105] Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
[130] The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
[133] Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.

” But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” ( Romans 10:8-11 NKJV).

” But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” ( 2 Timothy 3:13-17 NKJV).

These words of God have the ability to ‘empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction.’ All of us need to plunge headfirst in the direction of godliness, and there is no other way to do this apart from the Word of God. It’s there to give us instruction and correction in ways we cannot see ourselves.

Lord, please be at work in me through the power of Your Holy Word. Let it instruct, correct and empower me to be the person You called me to be. Amen

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,  To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. [Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].
