In John 17:15, 20 KJV Jesus says:
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
Luke 22:31-32 KJV
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Romans 8:26-28 KJV says:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. [28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Seven Types of Prayers:
- Proclamation and Declarations.
+Taking the Word of God and proclaiming it and declaring it over our lives and circumstances in the Name of Jesus.
Psalms 27, Psalm 23. - Sanctification, Consecration and Dedication.
+To set aside someone or something in service to God.
Luke 22:40-46. - Intercession.
+To pray to God for others.
James 5:16. - Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship.
+To give God acknowledgements with appreciations, glorifications, and to deify (treat Him like the God He is).

John 4:23-24 - Praying in the Spirit.
+The Holy Spirit praying Spiritually and Supernaturally through us.
Romans 8:26-28.
Jude 1:20 - Prayer of Petitions.
+to ask, beg, call for, crave, desire, to require of the Lord.

John 16:23. - Prayer of Benediction.
+To bestow blessings upon the people at the end of a service.
