HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR US.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”(Psalms 34:19 KJV).

” In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.”( Psalms 120:1 KJV).

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”(Psalms 139:23-24 NKJV).

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepeth Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The LORD is thy keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.  The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore.” (Psalms 121:1-8 KJV).

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV).

“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” ( 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 KJV).

LET’S PRAY πŸ™πŸ½ . HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.  You are right so right when You said  in , 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV :
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

WE are so lukewarm towards you so much of the time, in so much of our lives.  We try not to admit it to ourselves, but we read your Word and we can see the gap between what you want for us, and what we do. We make excuses, You tell us to pick up our cross and follow Jesus, imitating Him in all we do, but the lure of money, property, politics, entertainment ,and  all of the cares of this world  ,has  powerfully blinded our eyes,to your Truth.  We concern ourselves with the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride so much.  That we  constantly, ignore the plain and simple message of the Bible. We live too much in the secular world, anxious for status and concerned about my future. When you tell us not to.

Have patience with us, MIGHTY GOD, and forgive us . Do not spew us out, as you have warned you might do with the lukewarm. Fill our  soul with the fire of your Word and help us grow, to put more and more confidence in you and less and less in the world before us; forgive our  sins and help us to live in them less and less today, and every day, that we  might follow Jesus perfectly ,since He is our perfect example to follow .

Spirit of Truth, who reveals to us the things of God, we praise your name.
Spirit of Wisdom, who inspires the words we ought to speak, we praise your name.
Spirit of Power, who grants the courage we need to act, we praise your name.
Spirit of Love, who knows our nature and loves us still, we praise your name.

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you direct our  way unto you, and make us all , increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you; to the end that we may establish our hearts unblameable in holiness before you, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints. Amen.

” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”[ Jude 1: 24-25 KJV].
