LOVE AND CORRECTION

“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.  For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.  He shall deliver you in six troubles, Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.  In famine He shall redeem you from death, And in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, And you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes.  You shall laugh at destruction and famine, And you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth.”(Job 5 : 17-22 NKJV).

“Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.  But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it. Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence.  If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.  In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.”(Psalms 94:12-19 NKJV).

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction;  For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”(Proverb 3:11-12 NKJV).

“He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.  Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.  Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.  If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.”(Proverbs 9: 7-12 NKJV).

” Open rebuke is better Than love carefully concealed.” (Proverb 27:5 NKJV).

” For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”  If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?  But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.  Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?  For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.  Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”(Hebrews 12:6-11 NKJV).

-Continue to be wise, disciplined and mature when receiving the corrections, rebukes and chastening of the Lord. Its for our betterment and, His loves towards us.
+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to Jesus be all the glory. Amen

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[Jude 1:24-25 NKJV]

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” [Revelation 3:19-20 NKJV]
