THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

” But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.” (Isaiah 53:5 AMPC)

Another translation, says it this way :
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”

But ,John 3:16-21 NKJV reveals this to us :
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. [18] β€œHe who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. [21] But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

However , John 15:13 NKJV says this:
[13] Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

” For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”(2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV).

My πŸ™πŸ½ Prayer…
Heavenly Father,
On this solemn day, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. As we reflect on the pain and suffering He endured for our sins, may we be reminded of the depth of Your love and mercy.

Lord, help us to understand the significance of the cross and the redemption it brings. May we find solace in the knowledge that through His suffering, our brokenness is made whole, and our sins are forgiven.

As we remember the darkness of this day, illuminate our hearts with Your light. May we walk in gratitude and humility, striving to follow the example set by Jesus. Teach us to love others as He loved us, even in the face of adversity.

We pray for those who are suffering and in need of hope. May they feel Your presence and comfort during their difficult times. Let us be instruments of Your peace and love in the world, reflecting the grace we have received.

As we journey towards the joy of Easter, may we hold steadfast in faith and rejoice in the promise of resurrection. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son.

IN THE ALMIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, WE PRAY WITH THANKSGIVING. AMEN πŸ™Œ πŸ‘ πŸ™.

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [ Jude : 24-25 NKJV].
