MEDITATING ON HIS WORD

What will you be meditating on this year? I pray it’s not your career, money, or anything besides God,His Word, and His promises.

Meditate means to roll something over and over in your mind until it’s no longer just in your head, but it drops down in to your heart. What you study in the Word becomes revelation by meditating on it.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, BUT YOU SHALL MEDITATE IN IT  DAY AND NIGHT, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1: 8-9 NKJV).

” When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.  Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.” ( Psalms 63: 6-7 NKJV).

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” (Isaiah 26 : 3-4 NKJV).

” Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, AND IN HIS LAW HE MEDITATES DAY AND NIGHT.  He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”( Psalms 1:1-3 NKJV).

” I will MEDITATE on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. Gimel Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.  Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.” ( Psalms 119 : 15-18 NKJV).

” Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4: 6-9 NKJV).

” MEDITATE on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” (1 Timothy 4:15 NKJV).

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [ Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV].
