Revelation 1:4-8 NKJV
[4] John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, [5] and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, [6] and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. [7] Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. [8] “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
Colossians 1:18-19
18 And He (Christ Jesus)is the Head of the body, the Church: who is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in ALL things He (Christ Jesus) might have the Preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him should ALL fulness dwell.
+In everything concerning us Christ Jesus our Lord comes before all, and He must be kept above all.
+And whatsoever we do we do all for Jesus and for His Glory.
Acts 27:28
In Him (Jesus) we Live, Move and Have our Being…Amen!
Luke 14:26
If anyone comes to Me and does not HATE his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
+Number one, lets get this straight. Jesus is not promoting hatred towards family and others.
+Jesus is speaking figuratively and literally.
+He is expressing to us what we need to have in our hearts for Him in order to be one of His Disciples.
+It takes Loving Him above all, putting Him before all, and most importantly making sacrifices and if necessary die for Him.
Revelation 2:10 KJVS …be thou faithful unto death…
+Precious Saints its worth it. Let us give Him all that He needs from us, and follow Him wholeheartedly.
+This is Greatly Honorable and Well Pleasing and Highly acceptable unto our Lord.
Mark 10:28-30
28 Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”
+To be a Disciple of Jesus we must be willing to leave ALL and FOLLOW HIM (Jesus).
29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,
30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions and in the age to come, eternal life.
+Let no one or anything distract you or take you away from following Jesus.
+A Rich Young Ruler wanted to know from Jesus what he may do to inherit eternal life.
Mark 10:21-23
21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
22 But he was sad at the Words Jesus spoke to him, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
23 Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”
+Those who love money will not become Disciples of Jesus.
+No Disciple can serve money and Jesus at the same time.
+The rich young ruler proved it. He rather serves his money than to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 12:34
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
+Disciples of Jesus make Jesus their Treasure and they Treasure Jesus in every way.
Hallelujahs to Jesus! Amen!
John 21:17
Jesus said to Peter a third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you LOVE Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you LOVE Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I LOVE You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.
+Why did Jesus asked Peter three time “Do you LOVE me?”
+Could it because Peter denied that he knew Jesus three times?
John 13:37-38
37 …I will lay down my life for Your sake.”
38 Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times?
+Peter had to be solidified and fortified in his LOVE for Jesus.
+Disciples of Jesus must LOVE Him (Christ Jesus) undeniably at all times and at all cost, and with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength. Amen!
Hallelujahs to Jesus!
Finally:
Matthew 10:33 says;
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
+Some Disciples do not deny the Lord in words, but they deny Him in their hearts, and in deeds, and also in Love, Truth, Holiness, Righteousness and in Faith
Mark 7:6
He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
+Some Disciples deny Jesus in their lifestyles.
+But as Excellent Disciples of Christ Jesus our Lord we always represent Him in the Spirit of Excellence, in Words, in Deeds, and all in Love, Truth, Holiness, Righteousness and Faith, and all for His Glory. Hallelujah and Amen!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust, and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED we are and BLESSED we will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!
Jude 1:24-25 NKJV
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, [25] To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
