[8] This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. [9] Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3‭-‬5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
[3] He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him. [4] Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. [Matt. 8:17.] [5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

[8] Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! [9] For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness. [10] Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and irons— [11] Because they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High, [12] Therefore He brought down their heart with labor; They fell down, and there was none to help. [13] Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. [14] He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces. [15] Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! [16] For He has broken the gates of bronze, And cut the bars of iron in two. [17] Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted. [18] Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death. [19] Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. [20] He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. [21] Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! [22] Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.

[34] And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

[15] And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. [16] Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
