The Blessing of Being Steadfast in the Lord. To be steadfast is to be firmly dedicated ,loyal, and faithful to God above all.
As 1 Corinthians 15:58 tells us:
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be STEADFAST, UNMOVABLE, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord
Steadfast: uncompromising, firmly fixed, consistent, and persistent in love, truth, holiness, righteousness, and faith.
+Being STEADFAST prevents procrastination.
Procrastination: to be slow or to be late in doing the things that should be done; to put things off intentionally and habitually.
+Procrastinating is a thief of time, productivity, prosperity, and good success.
King David showed his steadfastness by saying: ” I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”(Psalms 34:1-4 NKJV).
” O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus, I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.”(Psalms 63:1-4 NKJV).
” Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.”(Psalms 103 : 1-6 NKJV).
” Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), of God.
Making the very most of your time [making every opportunity profitable], because the days are evil.”(Ephesians 5: 15-16 AMP)
” Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”(1 Peter 5: 8-11 NKJV).
”Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God can not be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.”(James 1: 12-15 NKJV)
Proverb 6:10-11
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall your poverty come upon you like a vagabond, and your want like an armed man.
+Do not go to sleep when it’s time to be awake.
+Do not rest when it’s time to be work.
Proverb 14:8
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his ways…
Proverb 22:29
See you a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean (unclear, uncertain, unknown and doubtful) men.
+Continue to be prudent, diligent, and steadfast, and know that your short term sacrifices has long term growth, dividends and benefits.
Hallelujah!
•And continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!
Jude 1:24-25 NKJV
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, [25] To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
