When we walk in the flesh as a Christian, we are prone to desire the lust of the flesh. But as a born-again Christian, we should desire to walk in the Spirit. ARE YOU WALKING IN THE SPIRIT ?
” And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
[26] But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”(John 14:16-18 ,26NKJV).
”I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”(Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV).

My Prayer: His Divine Purpose
Heavenly Father, help me, oh Gracious Father to not be caught up in religion, but to be caught up in spirit; Your Holy Spirit, that I might be more effectual in my.prayers and be obedient to You (Jeremiah 1:5). I want to serve Your Divine purpose, Lord; and do what is good and right in Your sight. Allow me, Dear Lord to live in Your Light and the Love that You have for me. Show me how to be helpful to Your Kingdom. Show me how to live a life of constant praise to You. (Jeremiah 29:11).
I thank You, Loving Father, for the opportunity to know You. I thank You for the great love You have shown me and that You have given me a place in Your kingdom. Help me to be more and more like You, Lord. With humility and gratitude. I accept the role You have given me, and I ask that You would help me steward it well. In Jesus’s mighty name, I pray, Amen.
”Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” [Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV]
