WHY WORRY

Worrying only steals your joy ,peace, and happiness, thus prohibiting you from enjoying the divine life that God has blessed you with.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ is specific and precise when it says : “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:27‭-‬34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ,ask this question, and answers it for us ?
“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things, the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added to you. THEREFORE ,DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‭-‬8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ tells us how to handle worry. ” Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD NEVER WORRY.

‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:3‭-‬8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ reminds us of this fact:
“… as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭42:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ suggested that you should ask yourself ?
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. [Jude 1:24-25].

SIGHT

“Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember ?”(Mark 8:18 NKJV).

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV).

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (II Corinthians 4:16‭-‬18 NKJV).

“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” (James 1:19‭-‬20 NKJV).

‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:5‭-‬9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
” But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.”

‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:24‭-‬25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[24] Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, [25] To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

PROOF THAT YOU LOVE GOD.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”(John 14:21‭-‬24 NKJV).

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24‭-‬27 NKJV).

‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”(Matthew 15:8‭-‬9 NKJV).

“So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” (John 21:15‭-‬17 NKJV).

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” (I John 4:17‭-‬21 NKJV).

God has never ,and will never, do anything apart from His WORD. That’s an eternal, everlasting fact. It can not be changed.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
[Jude 1:24‭-‬25 NKJV].

WORLD GONE CRAZY

Because of all the crazy things, that’s happening in this world, let’s shift our focus:

” If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:1‭-‬16 NKJV).

Give all your problems to God. Have you given all your problems to the Lord?
1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) tells us to:
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him (The Lord Jesus Christ), for He (The Lord Jesus Christ) cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
However, In Matthew 12:28-30, Jesus said:
Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

+In spite of all that we maybe going through the Lord is still our Healer, Deliverer, Redeemer, Protector, Provider, and Burden Bearer.
+In Him we have Total Victory because He is our Victory. Hallelujah!
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.

[Jude 1:24‭-‬25 NKJV]

THE GIFT OF HIS PEACE

Peace is a choice, and what many people fail to realize is that everybody doesn’t want the same thing. Some folks like it cold, some like it hot, some would rather be in conflict, while others would like to resolve it. But everyone has a choice. Remember also that wicked folks have no desire for peace. WHAT DO YOU WANT?

What’s the world’s concept of peace? No war’s, no fuss, no arguments,no conflict. But true peace is when your mind, soul, and body is at ease. And only God can give you that kind of peace, and He tells us how to get it.

“You will keep him in PERFECT PEACE, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” ( Isaiah 26:3‭-‬4 NKJV).

“I create the fruit of the lips: PEACE, PEACE to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the Lord, “And I will heal him.” But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt. “THERE IS NO PEACE,” SAYS MY GOD, “FOR THE WICKED.” (Isaiah 57:19‭-‬21 NKJV).

“These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. PEACE I leave with you, MY PEACE I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ( John 14:25‭-‬27 NKJV ).

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and THE PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and THE GOD OF PEACE will be with you.” (Philippians 4:6‭-‬9 NKJV).

To experience God’s Divine peace, accept His only begotten Son ( Jesus), and be baptized, to get started, go the the salvation page, at the top of this blog, and follow the instructions. Welcome to the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said: ” These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV).

“Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. PEACE be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “PEACE BE WITHIN YOU.” Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.” (Psalms 122:6‭-‬9 NKJV)

KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE.

So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” (Exodus 4:2 NKJV).

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4 NKJV).

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19 NKJV).

The Power of God’s Word in us.
1 Thessalonians 2:13
For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, because, when all of you received the Word of God which all of you heard of us, all of you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in TRUTH, the WORD of GOD, which EFFECTUALLY WORKS also in you who BELIEVE.
EFFECTUAL: capable of producing all intents and purposes.
Hebrews 4:12 AMP
For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power making it active, operative, energizing, and effective…
+The WORD of God in us is Alive, Active, Operative, Energizing and Effective. It is capable of producing all the intents and purposes of God in our lives.
+When we take man made medication we have no issues expecting the intents and purposes that medication is supposed to produce.
+How much more then shall we expect the Word of God to produce in us the intents and purposes of God in our lives.

“….as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (II Peter 1:3‭-‬11 NKJV).

+Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 4:4. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word proceeds of the Mouth of God.

FAITH OVER FEAR

“But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).

God doesn’t want his children to be weak and afraid that’s why He commands us not to be timid. “Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you anywhere you go. ” (Joshua 1:9).

Fear is an evil spirit that God didn’t give you.
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7). Then, to support that scripture, Luke 10:19 says this :
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ( 1 Corinthians 15:57)
-When you fear (Reverence) God the enemy (satan) and his entire team become afraid of you

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28 NKJV).

.
-There is no lack to them that fear the Lord, Psalm 34:9.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
[Jude 1:24‭-‬25 NKJV]

+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

ENJOY GOD’S GIFTS

God didn’t give us His gifts to worship, but to richly enjoy. The air we breathe, the house, the car,the job,and everything He gives us is for our enjoyment . Don’t get it twisted it’s all His,and it’s a loan to us.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.” (Psalms 24:1 NKJV).

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”(I Corinthians 10:26 NKJ).

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”.(1 Timothy 6:17‭-‬19 KJV).

“Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” (I Timothy 6:6‭-‬16 NKJV).

“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”(Romans 1:24‭-‬32 NKJV).

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” (I Corinthians 6:9‭-‬11 NKJV).

HOLD FAST

CONFIDENT FAITH

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) ” (Hebrews 10:23 KJV).

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:34-35 NKJV)

Did you know your ability to stand on God’s Word and stay focused on what you cannot yet see with your eyes will determine how much of God’s goodness manifests in your life?

Every promised victory we achieve in life is made up of these three components:

  1. The initial assurance and confidence that God is going to come through.
  2. The season where it appears as though nothing is happening.
  3. The manifestation of the promise.

I’ve learned it is the second component that usually offers the greatest challenge to our faith. So, how do you remain confident and exercise patience when nothing appears to be happening?

You do what Moses did. The Bible says, “For he looked forward and away to the reward (recompense) … he never flinched but held staunchly to his purpose and endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:26-27 AMP).

Moses kept his eyes on the reality of the invisible, not on the visible natural circumstances. This ability to stay focused on the reward ahead enabled Moses to be faithful and fulfill God’s calling on his life.

Every challenge you will ever face is an opportunity for you to build strength of character to endure the “nothing is happening” seasons of life. Determine to remain confident and endure these seasons with patience, and you will most certainly see the manifestation of God’s promise.

“O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.” ( 1 Timothy 6:20‭-‬21 NKJV).

Confession: I hold fast to my confident faith as I choose to continue in the will of God for my life. I fix my eyes on Him, fully assured that in due season, I will receive the promised victory.

WHEN YOU REFUSE TO LISTEN TO GOD,BAD THINGS HAPPEN.

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” (Deuteronomy 28:1‭-‬14 NKJV)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: “I will send war, famine, and disease upon them and make them like bad figs, too rotten to eat. Yes, I will pursue them with war, famine, and disease, and I will scatter them around the world. In every nation where I send them, I will make them an object of damnation, horror, contempt, and mockery. For they refuse to listen to me, though I have spoken to them repeatedly through the prophets I sent. And you who are in exile have not listened either,” says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 29:11‭, ‬17‭-‬19 NLT).

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.” (Psalms 1:1‭-‬6 NKJV).

“Do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on. For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.” (Proverbs 4:14‭-‬24 NKJV)
