GODLY LIVING

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which  is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of  himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let  us  use  them: if prophecy, let  us  prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let  us  use  it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”. (Romans 12:1‭-‬21 NKJV).

Never Stop Trusting in God…

-Have you been going through some things for a long time and it seems as if its not getting any better?

-God has not forgotten you. Speak to Him and let Him know that you are still trusting in Him and waiting upon Him.

Psalm 37:4-5

Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all of your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.

-Don’t worry about how and when the Lord will do it or make it happen. Just know that He will do it.

Psalm 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

-Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

HEALED

For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord , ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.” ’(Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV).

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.(Jeremiah 33:6 NKJV).

LET GOD HAVE HIS WAY

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”.( 2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬6 NKJV).

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—(Ephesians 6:10‭-‬18 NKJV).

WHY WORRY, WHEN GOD GOT IT

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Philippians 4:6-9

BRETHREN
Colossians 4:2-6.
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

-Stay away from Anger..

  It hurts ..Only You!

“Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools”. (Ecclesiastes 7:9 NKJV).

“A wise man fears and departs from evil, But a fool rages and is self-confident. A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, And a man of wicked intentions is hated”. (Proverbs 14:16‭-‬17 NKJV).

-If you are right then there is no need to get angry,

-And if you are wrong then you don’t have any right to get angry.

“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in  it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world”.(James 1:19‭-‬27 NKJV).

-Patience with family is love,

-Patience with others is respect.

-Patience with self is confidence and Patience with GOD is faith.

-Never Think Hard about the PAST, It brings Tears…

-Never worry about the FUTURE, It brings Fears…

-Live this Moment with a Smile, It brings Cheers.

-Every test in our life makes us better,

-Every problems that come to make us and not break us,

-The choice is ours whether we become victims or victorious.

Chose Victory.

-Beautiful things are not always good but good things are always beautiful.

-Do you know why God created gaps between fingers?

-So that someone special to you can fill those gaps by holding your hand forever.

-Happiness keeps You Sweet..But being sweet brings happiness to others

-You are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved.

CONTROL  YOUR THOUGHTS

Don’t  allow  the devil  to put any negative  thoughts  in your mind, you have the power  and authority  to recognize, reject ,and renounce  anything  that’s  contrary  to God’s  words, and plans for your life.

What are you feeding your mind, for it to conto your thoughts , what  you put in,is what you will get. What you plant man water in your mind, you will receive . So if you put garbage  in,garbage  will come out,and there’s  something  you need to know .  God knows  it before you even think  it,and He is holding  you responsible  for your thoughts , which means you can ,and have control  over your thoughts  .

REMEMBER

“Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord , And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord . “For  as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts”. (Isaiah 55:7‭-‬9 NKJV).

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. ( 2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬6 NKJV).

“O Lord , You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there  is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord , You know it altogether”.(Psalms 139:1‭-‬4 NKJV).

“Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.  But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”(Matthew 12:34‭-‬37 NKJV).

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks”. (Luke 6:45 NKJV).

THIS  IS  HOW,GOD WANTS US  TO  THINK
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are  noble, whatever things are  just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things”. (Philippians 4:8 NKJV).

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”(Joshua 1:8‭-‬9 NKJV).

REMEMBER YOUR THOUGHTS DICTATES TO YOU:

How you function and operate in life. Simply put, What you think, believe ,and say has a lot to do with how your life is situated.

Proverb 23:7

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…

Philippians 4:8-9.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are  noble, whatever things are  just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.

-Negative speaking and believing brings about negative things.

-Bad speaking and believing brings about bad things.

-Doubting and speak unbelief brings you nothing, and causes no change to your situation.

-Positive speaking and believing brings about positive things.

-Good speaking and good believing brings about good things.

-Think positive beliefs and speak positive words (God’s Words). This gives God what He needs from you to work in your life and change things for the better.

-Blessed you are and bless you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

LET’S  PRAY

I decree, right now, “that whatever has been holding you down…whatever has been afflicting or humiliating you…whatever has been against your peace, your progress, your job or career, your business or your children…You are breaking forth today! You will never, ever be disgraced or in a shameful condition again, in Jesus’ Name! AMEN.

A Man’s Daily Prayer

Abba Father, My God, My Lord. Good morning! Thank you for hearing my prayer, for being interested in
the thoughts and concerns of my heart this day. Who am I, Lord, that you think of me all day long? (Psalm 8:4), Philippians 4:6). I am your son, coming to you, Abba, to hear your voice again today (John 10:27, Psalm 5:3, 85:8).

Father, in spite of my struggle to put off the old man (Ephesians 4:21-24) , You still make me clean, holy and acceptable to You through Your Begotten Son, my Savior, Brother and Friend, Jesus. By His Sacrificial Love on the Cross, He exchanged my sinful old man, for a righteousness new man (Colossians 3:10, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

I am now accepted, affirmed and approved by You (Ephesians 1:4-7).
I am in awe that “Your gentleness has made me great” (Psalm 18:35, ESV). You told me I am Your son and You enjoy talking with me ((Psalm 2:7, Philippians 4:6-8).

Lord Jesus, I enter in today’s work place thanking You for the gifts You have given me because You love me. Wherever the flame of my gifts has dwindled, I pray that You strengthen me, as I fan the flame of these gifts by setting my mind on Spirit-Filled manhood (2 Timothy 1:6, Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3) (1 Peter 2:21, 4:1-2).
I earnestly desire and ask this day, for an extra measure of:
Your Spirit of a Sound Mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
The Spirit of Self Control (Galatians 5:23, 2 Peter 1:6).
The Spirit of Strength. (Isaiah 11:2, 2 Timothy 1:7, Ephesians 3:16).
The Spirit of Sacrificial Love (Galatians 5:23, Ephesians 3:17-19).
The Spirit of Sonship (Romans 8:15-16, Galatians 4:4-7).

I receive this, by Your Holy Spirit, to restore, firmly fix, strengthen and establish me in Your Love (Chesed).
By authority in Christ I renounce any feelings left of unworthiness, guilt or regret by the power of the
Cross. I now step firmly into trusting your will, to co-labor with me in my work today that it may bring
You glory.

I now believe & confess to possess the Spirit of the Sound mind as I choose to set my
mind on Your Will & Word as reality (Romans 8:5-7, Colossians 3:2). I am a focused & (Isaiah 26:3)
content man (Philippians 4:11) whose mind is orderly, whole & guarded by the peace of Christ (Philippians 4:7).

I receive Your Spirit of Self-Control as I choose, by the discipline of Grace, to say
“No” (Titus 2:11-12) to any lazy, sinful, or destructive thoughts that hinder me or lead into temptation. By Your authority, I lead captive, every thought, till it obeys Your Word (2 Corinthians 10:5). I practice this, till it becomes natural in me! I choose to exchange affections for this world, for my affection for You Father. I am a consistent and self-controlled man (James 4:4, Colossians 3:2, Romans 12:2).

I receive Your Spirit of Strength. The power in me, used for your Glory, I choose, to courageously trust Your kindness as I confidently walk & work as though your strength is in me, whether I feel it, see it, or not, Almighty Father.

I receive Your Spirit of Love as I choose to live & love as a sacrificial man (Romans 12:1) and put my wife, children and brother’s needs before mine. For no greater love has any man, than to put his own desires in submission to that of another (Ephesians 5:21, Philippians 2:3-5, John 15:13).

I receive Your Spirit of Sonship, Abba, as Your Fatherly acceptance and approval of me overwhelms my intellect and divinely disarms doubt in my heart. I choose to accept Your forgiveness (1John 1:9) and Your Covenant of Love for me, which esteems me a successful son, of the King of the Universe,
who is my Father.

I am a chosen son, in whom You are well pleased. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

ONE DAY AT A TIME

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness…”{2 Peter 3:8-11}
Question: “What does it mean that there is a proper time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1–8)?”

Answer: Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 is a well-known passage that deals with the balanced, cyclical nature of life and says that there is a proper time for everything:
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.”

In this passage, the Preacher says that there is a time for every matter in life. He illustrates this truth by juxtaposing opposites: fourteen pairs of contrasting activities as examples of how life is comprised of various seasons. A straightforward reading of the passage reveals several concepts:

FIRST, the timing of our activities is important. Killing someone (Ecclesiastes 3:8) is generally considered evil and a crime, but that may change during a time of war, when defending one’s country can be considered a noble act. Dancing (verse 4) may be appropriate during a time of celebration, but it would not be appropriate for a funeral. Both our actions and the timing of our actions are important to God.
SECOND, these seasons in which certain pursuits are proper are appointed by God. His plan for life involves a variety of experiences and activities. Weeping may be part of life, but life is not all weeping; laughter has a place, too (Ecclesiastes 3:4). Construction is good in its time, but sometimes deconstruction is necessary (verse 3).
A key to this passage is found a few verses later: “He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The proper activity at the right time, bringing about God’s purposes, is a beautiful part of God’s overall plan. A tapestry, viewed from the back, seems a chaotic and unlovely work; but the maker of the tapestry has a wise purpose for the placement of each thread.
Third, Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 serves as a bridge between the first two chapters and the section that follows. People are to accept each day as a gift from the hand of God (2:24–26). Why? Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 explains it is because God has a reason and a time for all things. People may be ignorant of God’s timing (3:9–11), but they are called to enjoy life in the present (3:12–13) and trust in God’s sovereignty (3:14–15).
God offers much wisdom in the saying, “There is a time for everything, / and a season for every activity under the heavens.” God is sovereign. Our activity in this world is meaningful as we rely on His wisdom, His timing, and His goodness.

The Invisibility of God

-Has it ever dawned or occurred to you that God is also Invisible.

1Timothy 1:17

Now unto the King Eternal, Immortal, INVISIBLY, the only Wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

-Jesus as God has the supernatural ability to be visible or invisible.

John 4:24

God is a Spirit…

-God is a Spirit and obviously the Holy Spirit is Spirit. As Spirits our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit are Invisible.

-Many times we look for Jesus to physical appear in our situations and circumstances and He can, but for the most part He remains invisible with in it.

-Stay encouraged and know that even though you don’t physically see the Lord. He is still with you but invisible. He honors His Word. He said in Hebrews 13:5 I’ll never leave you nor forsake you.

-Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
