Know who you are in Christ,and to Christ.”As ye have,therefore,receive Christ Jesus the Lord,so walk ye in Him,rooted and built up in Him,and established in the faith..”(Colossians 2:6-7). Reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin,but alive unto God through Jesus Christ,our Lord. Let not sin,therefore,reign in your mortal body,that ye should obey its lusts. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin,but yield yourselves unto God,as those that are alive from the dead,and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Romans 6:11-13). Therefore,it is the christians responsibility to follow Christ’s examples in relation to God’s work and will. Therefore,know the facts of our union and identification with Christ in His death and resurrection. So,I am crucified with Christ;nevertheless I live,yet not I,but Christ liveth in me,and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who loved me and gave Himself for me”(Galatians 2:20). These are the facts and truths we have to hold on to and stand on in these perilous times,and as 1 John 4:4 says,”Greater is He that is in us,than he that is in the world”. We must count these facts as truth,and present ourselves as children of God displaying the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 which are love,joy,peace,long-suffering,gentleness,goodness,faith,meekness,and self-control. We must do as Romans 12:1-2 suggest,and present our bodies as living sacrifices unto God,which is our reasonable service,and be not conformed to this world ,but be transformed by the renewing of our minds,so that we will be able to prove,what is that good,and perfect,and acceptable will of God. Then we have to be obedient to God’s word and will for us,which means we do as Jesus commanded us to do in the great commission,”Go ye into all the world,and preach the gospel to every creature.He that believeth and baptized shall be saved,but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my Name they shall cast out demons,they shall speak with new tongues,they shall take up serpents,and if they drink any deadly thing,it shall not hurt them,thay shall lay hands on the sick,and they shall recover [Mark 16:15-18]. Are you a real christian or a counterfeit,or undercover ,God is looking for real ones,bold ones,dedicated,and devoted christians,because the harvest is plenty,but the laborers are few. God is looking for a few good christians,are you one,will you be one? GOD SEES IT ALL
Do you really think that God didn’t see you? The cheating,the lies,who you are sneaking around with,the murder,the stealing,etc. Trust me you didn’t get away with it,and will not get away with it. God says,”BE NOT DECEIVED,GOD IS NOT MOCKED,FOR WHATEVER A MAN SOWETH,THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP”. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption,but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life.(Galatians 6:7-8). But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done,and there is no respect of persons[Colossians 3:25].I am a living testimony of this fact,and God gives us two options,(1) Romans 6:23,”For the wages of sin is death,but the gift of God is eternal life”.(2) 1John 1:9 ” If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. What a relief it was to be given an option,by the Creator,who could have just snuff me out with a word,but instead He gave me a chance and a choice to choose life. And He records it, the good thing about all this is that everyone has the same choices and options that He gave me,and we can find this option in Deuteronomy 30:15-20. The problem with most people is they think this is not for them,or it doesn’t apply to them,but here is another word from the Lord,in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.. The choices and decisions are all yours; is it God or satan,heaven or hell,everlasting life or everlasting torments. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death” Proverbs 14:12.If it’s your desire to choose to be with Jesus who paid the price for you to go to heaven,and enjoy abundant life,just go to the top of this blog,click on to the salvation page and get started.
GOD’S GOT HIS EYES ON YOU.
Why do you think people say,what ever you do in the dark,will one day come to light. It’s because,God sees and knows your deepest,and darkest secrets,and He reveals them all,when you least expect it,or think no one will ever know.No one can hide from God, and you would thing that people would choose to do good,because they know that God is watching. Do they sin,because ,they don’t fear Him,or they just don’t care. One thing for sure whatever you do,good or evil,He is watching.”For His eyes are upon the ways of man,and He seeth all his goings.(Job 34:21). For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,and He pondereth all his goings(Proverbs 5:21). Just imagine you are in bed with someone that you are not married to,or suppose to be with,He is watching. Jeremiah 16:17 says,”For mine eyes are upon all their ways;they are not hidden from my face,neither is their iniquity hidden from mine eyes”. In 2 Samuel 11&12,King David,thought no one knew his secret till,God send the Prophet Nathan,to expose him,which lead David to write Psalms 139:7 which says,”Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? Which leads us to God telling us in Revelation 3:15-16 says,to everyone,especially the undercover christians,”I know thy works,that thou art neither cold nor hot;I would thou wert cold or hot. So,then,because thou art lukewarm,and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth”. Do you really want the Lord to spew you out? If not then serve Him in Spirit and truth,be Holy for He is Holy. It’s time to present your body as a living sacrifice,that is holy and acceptable unto Him,which is your reasonable service. Stop being conformed to this world,and be transformed by the renewing of your mind,as Romans 12:1-2 suggests. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,and His ears are open unto their prayers;but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”(1 Peter 3:12). SACRIFICE
Most of us make many sacrifices in life for things that does not truely satisfy. We sacrifice our time,money,and happiness for our children to be somebody,for people to love us,to fit into a group,to be rich,famous,and many other things. However,most folks end up frustrated and bitter,disappointed and disgusted,when the end doesn’t justify the means. However,their are sacrifices that are made that does yield great rewards of joy ,accomplishment,and fulfillment, for example Jesus sacrifice on the cross to redeem us,and we in turn,presenting our bodies,as living sacrifices,that’s holy and acceptable unto God,which is our reasonable service for the sacrifice ,He did for us. Why is it so hard for us especially people who pretend to be Christians to offer the sacrifices of righteousness,and put your trust in the Lord(Psalms 4:5). How about a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving,these are the kinds of sacrifices that will please God,and be beneficial to mankind. Psalms 51:15-19 says,”O Lord,open thou my lips,and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice,else would I give it;thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart,O God,thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion,build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness ….” What are you sacrificing to God,and for God? What have you done for Him lately or daily? Only what’s done for Christ will last. When we make the sacrifice to serve and live for God,He will put gladness in our hearts,and we will both lay down in peace and sleep,for only the Lord makes us dwell in safety(Psalms 4:7&8).
YOU WILL NOT FALL OR FAIL
God did not create us to fail,in any form or fashion.For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works,which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them,as we see in Ephesians 2:10 we weren’t designed to fail. Then Isaiah 43:7 says,Even everyone ,who is called by my name;for I have created him for my glory,I have formed him;yea I have made him.God didn’t create us neither to fail nor fall.And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly,and I pray God your whole Spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He that calleth you,who also will do it.1Thessalonians 5:23. My Father,who gave them to me,is greater than all,and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. John 10:29. Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling,and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 24). As believers,we must know for a fact that,”The Lord knoweth how to deliver the Godly out of temptations,and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished as 2 Peter 2:9 tells us. However ,we see in 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5,”But the Lord is faithful,who shall establish you,and keep you from evil,and we have confidence in the Lord concerning you,that ye both do and will do the things which we command you;and the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God,and into the patient waiting for Christ”.Then Romans 8:1says,”There is,therefore,now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus,who walk not after the flesh,but after the Spirit”. Then to seal the deal,we go to Ephesians 1:11-13 “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,being predetined according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will,that we should be to the praise of His glory,who first trusted in Christ; in whom ye also trusted,after ye heard the word od truth,the gospel of your salvation;in whom also after ye believed,ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise”. A seal signifies a finished transaction,ownership,and security from the enemy of God. POWERLESS TO POWERFUL
How do you get from powerless to powerful,from victim to victor,from less than to more than. It’s simple,you have to be connected to the main source of power,for example,if you buy a 60″ Television,you will not enjoy the use of it until you plug it in,and press the power button. This is the reason why some Christians have no power to heal the sick,cast out demons,and trample over all the serpents,scorpions,and over all the power if the enemy,is because,we are not connected to the vine,we are not abiding in Christ Jesus,our ultimate source of power,and as He tells us in John 15 ,we can do nothing without Him. It’s so sad in these latter days,where we are experiencing perilous times as 2 Timothy 3 warns us about,that the church,the body of Christ is embracing,conforming to,and running from the enemy,instead of activating our power,so that the enemy will flee. What is happening to the believers,why false prophets have out numbered God’s anointed prophets,and God’s people are perishing because of lack of knowledge and power,because they are not hearing the word of God to increase their faith and not their bank accounts or status. Money will make you powerless if you think it is the source of your power. The true source of your power is God,the Owner of the universe,and everything in it. The question is who or what are you connected to or plugged into? Would you like to be connected to the source of all divine power? PLEASING GOD FOR 2014
Our desires,goals,and aspirations from now on,should be to please God in every way possible,with every fiber of our being,that He is so happy with us,that like Job,He can say have you considered my servant………….(insert your name),who is holy,righteous,devoted,and obedient. Or better yet this is my beloved servant in whom I am well pleased. Proverbs 16:7 says,”When a man’s ways please the Lord,He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him”. Is this impossible ? No ,it isn’t there are people in the Bible who did,and people alive today ,who are living lifestyles that’s pleasing to God. Are you one of them? How do we live a life that pleases God. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10)which simple means that when God is pleased,with us we are strong in every aspect of our lives. So how do we get God to be pleased and joyful .Romans 12:1-2 says,”I beseech you therefore,brethren,by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable unto God,which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world,but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good,and acceptable,and perfect,will of God”. However,1 Corinthians 3:16-17 says,”Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God,him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy,which temple ye are”. Then Ephesians 4:22-32 advises us to ,put off concerning the former conversation the old self,which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and that ye put on the new man or self,which after God is created in righteousness,and true holiness. Wherefore,putting away lying,speak every man truth with his neighbor,for ye are members one of another. Be angry and sin not,let not the sun go down on your wrath ,neither give place to the devil…let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,but that which is good to the use of edifying,that it may minister grace unto the hearers.. And grieve not the Holy Spirit,by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption… Ephesians 5 says,”Be ye,therefore,followers of God,as dear children,and walk in love,as Christ hath loved us..then it gives us a list of things we should avoid doing as children of God. If we obey God’s word we will have no problem pleasing God. Do you have a relationship with God,and desire to please Him? Just read His word and obey all His commands.
