LONG LIFE

Take heed,and beware of covetousness : for a mans life consisted not in the abundance of the things which he possesses (Luke 12 :15);Store Gods commands in your heart for they will give you a long and satisfying life, Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace and write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people and you will gain a good reputation ( Proverbs 3:1-4,N.L.T.)

Psalms 30:5 tells us,’For His (Gods) anger endures but a moment;in His favor is life’;We are looking at the effects of living a life in Christ,or for Christ,and the benefits of accepting Gods special gift of His only begotten son as pardon for our sins and the way to eternal life (John 3:16);for with Him is the fountain of life ( Psalm 36 :9).

Jesus said,in John 6: 38-40 ,’For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will ,but the will of Him that sent me….and this is the will of Him who sent me,that everyone who sees the Son( Jesus) and believes in Him may have everlasting life…’ Do you want eternal life? then go to the top of this blog,click on to the salvation page,and follow the instructions.

ARE YOU ?

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God to give salvation to everyone who believes. For the Jew first and also for the Greek and for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written the just shall live by faith.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:16-20). Are you ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God? (not an adopted son but The Son). Are you just? Are you living by faith? If Jesus comes tomorrow where will you spend eternity,  in Heaven or hell? The choice is yours? THE ONLY MESSIAH

“This is a true saying and everyone should believe it, Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners and I was one of the worse of them all; But that is why God had mercy on me, so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worse  sinners; then others will realize that they too, can believe in Him(Jesus) and receive eternal life (1 Timothy 1:15-16).”

John 3:16 tell us that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to save us and not condemn us. 1 Timothy 2:4-6 confirms this by telling us;

  “For He (Jesus) wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that God gave to the world at the proper time.”

REJOICING

This is the day which the Lord hath made;we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Let the heart of those who seek the lord rejoice (1 Chronicles 16:10).Rejoice in the Lord always and again, I say, rejoice( Philippians 4:4). In John 14:28 Jesus said if we love Him then we will rejoice.

Well I have to be honest and tell you that if you are not rejoicing or you do not have anything to rejoice about it’s because you do not know God. If you do not know God then you do not know His only begotten son (Jesus Christ) who was sent to fill the void between God and ourselves. What are you waiting for? REBELLION

For rebellion is to the sin of witchcraft as stubbornness is to iniquity and idolatry. ‘Because you have rejected the word of the Lord He hath also rejected thee from being king’ this was the message Saul received in 1 Samuel 15:23. This should make you wonder shouldn’t it. How many people are suffering because they reject God’s word, His only begotten son Jesus christ and His commandments. Listen folks the time is now and the opportunity is here. Take advantage of the chances you are getting. TIPS FOR BELIEVERS

Would you like tips for spending time with God throughout the day? How about tips during rough times, good times or all the time? The first order of business is you must learn to pray before you leave the house, while you are on the move and when you get to your destination. Do not forget that God said he will never leave you or forsake you. Be encouraged that God never lies and is true to all of His promises so you might as well acknowledge His presence.

The second way to spend time with God is to, in all thy ways, acknowledge him and he will direct your path. You may think you have it under control or that you can handle it yourself but take my advise, Just Ask God. He knows everything.

Third way to get closer to god is for you not to rely on your own strength because you will fail. God’s strength, however, never fails because his strength is made perfect in your weakness.  You must expect God to act outside of your limited expectations because He can do exceedingly abundant things above all that we may ask or think.

The best tip is to always meditate and memorize your favorite scriptures so you can encourage yourself in the Lord. Now the ever sweet icing on the cake is for you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and He will add everything unto you. Things that you may take for granted like a loving and adorable spouse, good children, a good job, a house, a car, and a whole lot more. If you don’t trust or seek God and His righteousness how will you know?

These things are a part of my list. I am sure you have your own but if you don’t you can add-on to mine and always stay encouraged. If you read this and you are not a believer but have decided to be all you have to do are a couple of simple steps. ABIDE IN HIS LOVE

Love is the most powerful weapon in the world, when we use it appropriately, and bestow it in its proper perspective. Love will always make you do right, because where love is hate cannot manifest its ugly self. True love is contagious, and if you allow it to fester it will spread like a wild-fire out of control, then it will cover a multitude of sins (Proverbs 10:12; 1 Peter 4:8), then  the world will be a better place. Love started with God, was manifested through Jesus(John 3:16), and was given to us.

In John 15:9 Jesus said, “As the father loved me, I also have loved you; abide in my love”. To abide is to stay or remain in His(Jesus) love, you must realize that when you step out of the boundaries of Gods love, that’s when you expose yourself to all manner of hurt and pain. Jesus did not leave it at that, He told us the only way to abide in His love is to keep His commandments, yes it is the same ones that was given to Moses in Exodus 20. No my friends it’s not impossible to do, Jesus came and showed us that it’s do-able and possible way of life.

When Jesus walked on this earth, He kept His Fathers (God) commandments and abide in His(Gods) love ( John 15:10). Now if we abide in Jesus’ love, and keep His commandment to love each other, then His joy will remain in us, and our joy will be full then this world will be a better place;the devil love it when we hate each other,hurt each other,and kill each other,because he gets the glory and your chances of  having everlasting life will be doomed ,because his is doomed;The wages of sin is death;but the gift of God is eternal life (Romans 6:23).

Did you accept Gods gift? Do you know who or what it is ? well John 3:16-17 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son (Jesus)that whosoever believeth on Him(Jesus),will not perish but have everlasting life,Jesus did not come to condemn us but to save us,put us back in right standing with God;Listen there is no other way,or access to God except through Jesus (John 14:6);you will not escape Gods wrath and judgement when you neglect His love,His gift of His son(Jesus),and the opportunity of salvation( Hebrews 2:3).

IS IT FOOLISHNESS

They say belief kills and belief cures,but I ask belief in what?or who? It is a fact, that if you believe in satan you will  die,but believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved,and have everlasting life(John 6:40).Most people believe in Jesus Christ yet there are those who don’t,who do you believe in ? Are you one of the foolish people the Bible speaks about?

The apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 1:18 tells us that the message of the cross(which is about Jesus’ crucifixion) is foolishness to those who are perishing,but for those who got saved by it,we see it as the manifestation of the power of God.How ironic it is that the scientist, archeologist,and all those so-called experts,also the over educated,and wise people ,fail to explain or clarify certain occurences or events that’s happening ,yet they still refuse to admit,recognized,and acknowledge that there is a God,and Jesus Christ is His (Gods) only begotten son(John 3:16).

For it is written: I (God) will destroy the wisdom of the wise,and bring to nothing the understanding or intellect of the prudent; Where is the wise? Where is the scholar?  Where is the philosopher of this age? Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world?……………. (1 Corinthians 1:19-20);For example,does the meteorologist give you an accurate account of the weather? Did anyone find a cure for death? or cancer? ….For since the wisdom of this world knew not God,it pleases God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe; you may not know this, but the foolishness of God is wiser than man      (1 Corinthians 1:25).

There is nothing wrong with being wise,the Bible tell us to be wise as serpents( Matthew 10:16);Ephesians 5:15-16 tells us, to walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise,redeeming the time because the days are evil;But we are told in Romans 12:16, not to be wise in our own conceits.These scriptures are not referring to worldly wisdom or carnal people, it’s talking to christians, who are fools for Christ’s sake,but wise in Christ;we are weak, but you are strong;you are distinguished,but we are dishonourable ( 1 Corinthians 4:10);But we are wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15).

How shall we escape,if we choose to neglect so great salvation(Hebrews 2:3);now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ,according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began,but now made manifest,and by the prophetic scriptures made known to all nations ,according to the commandment of the everlasting God,for obedience to the faith;to God only wise,be glory through Jesus Christ for ever.amen.

PREPARATION

Preparation beats elaboration any day. Lawyers always prepare for a case, before they go to court, if they plan to win. Doctors prepare for surgery, before they start operating on the patient. The soldier has to practice before he goes off to war. All occupations require the individual to study and practice as often as possible, in order to be successful at their professions. Everything we do in life we have to be prepared for, the question is, how well are we prepared? How do we prepare? and what are we preparing for?

 As children of God we must be prepared to receive God’s gifts, prepare to submit to God and resist the devil, prepare for Jesus’ return, prepare to fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life (1 Timothy 6:12). Preparation is not an overnight thing, and it cannot be done in a day. Preparation starts with  our hearts and minds so we can receive the things of the spirit of God (1 Samuel 7:3; Proverbs 16:1).

However, as Christians we must study to show ourselves approved unto God a workman that needed not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). As soldiers in the army of the Lord, Ephesians 6:15 (AMP) tells us to shod our feet in preparation to face the enemy with the surefooted stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news of the gospel of peace. We must be ready to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ over the whole world(Mark 16:15-16). How beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion your God reigns (Isaiah 52:7, Romans 10:15).

 We must let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms,  hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:15).Lets get it together saints, 1 Peter 3:15 tells us, “to be ready to give an answer to everyone that asked us for a reason of the hope that is in us“. We are in the last days, Jesus went to prepare a place for us ( John 14:2), are we preparing for Jesus’ return? Are we walking circumspectly, not as fools but as wise people, redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16). CONDITIONAL LOVE

Conditional love is not genuine and will never last, because it’s founded on a stipulation; it’s based only on selfish desires. The truth is when you purchase someones love, in the long run it won’t be worth it, because it is conditional. That’s one of the reasons many marriages end in divorce, because most people now-a-days get married, for the wrong reasons. Marrying, because of the persons financial status, and not because they are compatible to you is dead wrong.

Most people will say there is nothing wrong with marrying someone with a high financial status, but when you examine the relationship, you will realize that the foundation of it is based on materialism and not love. Which means when certain conditions and/or wants are not met, then you are out hunting for the next victim who has the money or the thing that you want; when the money runs out, you run out with it. When the conditions of your love stops, then your love disappears.

Now, imagine if Gods love was conditional, where would we be? If Jesus’ love was conditional, would He had gone to the cross?  In Jeremiah 31:3(NL*) the Lord appeared unto Jeremiah, saying that “I have loved you with an everlasting love; with an unfailing love I have drawn you to myself” now that is reassuring. When you do not have the love of God in your heart as John 5:42 states, then your love will be conditional, and you can’t even love God or His son (Jesus Christ) who gave His life for you, who purchased your sins with His life, because of unconditional love.

People who love conditionally will turn against you and God in an instant, like Job’s wife in Job 2:9, who wanted Job to curse God and die, because her luxurious lifestyle suddenly  diminished or vanished. All this occurred because God wanted to prove to the devil, that Job’s love for Him was not conditional. Read it for yourself Job chapters 1-2.

Is your love for God conditional or unconditional ? Will you be able to pass the test like Job, if  satan accuses you? Will you declare like Job, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:5).

How is your relationship with God? Did you accept His gift, of His only begotten son Jesus Christ ? Who or what are you waiting for? Why aren’t you seeking the Lord while He may be found,and calling on Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and God will have mercy upon him, turn to God who will pardon you abundantly. Just remember God’s thoughts and ways are different from yours (Isaiah 55:6-9).

Because of God’s unconditional love for us, John 3:16 tells us, He sent Jesus to mend the relationship between God and us. Jesus said, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance”( Luke 5:32). Jesus also told us He is the way, the truth, and the life, no one goes to God without going through Him ( John 14 :6, Romans 3:23-24).
